weavile tech?

eh, I think this could work:
Pokemon (23)
4-3-4 Kingra
1-1 Weavile (secret wonders)
2-2 Clayol
1 Azelf (LA)
3 Unown G

12 water
2 dark (special)

Trainers: (21)
4x Bebe's
4x Rosseane's
4x Pluspower
3x Rare Candy
2x Lake Boundary
2x Cynthia's Feelings
2x Night Maintenence

Strategy: lol, another kingdra deck, but a 2-2 weavile line to hurt Gengar and Dusknoir decks. I take it further by using Lake Boundary and make Aqua Pump KO Gengar and 2hko Dusknoir, and neither can OHKO kingdra. It also stops some of the minor decks, such as those with a water weakness, so that they can still KO them. Weaknesses would probably be magnazone+luxray, but neither are very common.

12 water, 4 dark special is the way to go.
i thought about teching in weavile for kingdra.
-1 azelf for +1 rare candy. (4 rare candy allow you to swarm and donk)
you don't have anything at 1.

It's supposed to help against the dusknoir matchup, but i really don't like it too much in kingdra, moreso when there are other things kingdra could use to tech against noir, while not being overcentralized to just work against Dusknoir.

oops, I'm sorry, I totally forgot, I put this is the wrong section. It was meant to be in deck help and strategy, so, could a mod please move this? ><"
also, I kind of like azelf to atleast see my prizes. ><" But I can put in 4 rare candy for something.
and also, it's not totally about taking down dusknoir, but it helps against grass decks with a resistance with water, since kingdra can only deal 60+20 snipe if it discards 2 cards, or like 120 damage from aqua stream, lol.
but with darkness energy and kingdra being a dark type with weavile, you get +10 damage on your attacks, which can 2HKO leafeon X, dusknoir, gengar (which it actually can 1HKO with lake boundary) scizor, Torterra, sceptile, etc.

1-1 Weavile, no darks. Just making Kingdra dark type is enough in most situations, dark energies just hog space from more important consistency/speed cards (UXIE, Buck, Warp Point, etc.).

And definitely one more Rare Candy.

okay.
erm, could a mod please move this to deck help? ...
I'll change it.
Why not like 2 dark energies? because weavile can search+attach them to kingdra, switch back next turn, and kingdra can consistently do 80+20 snipe?

Whats the point in attaching dark energy to kingdra, it needs water energy to attack.

Take out 2 darks. You don't need any but it is a handy plus power. Also take outa 1-1 wevile. It's not needed. It's just a tech. Also this should be in deck help.

If you can attach special Dark energy to Kingdra (using Weavile's attack) and at least one water energy, the turn Kingdra attacks (if you still have Weavile on your Bench), Weavile can make Kingdra a :dark: Pokemon so it'll get the bonus from have special Dark energy attached. And that also helps to avoid resistant Grass types, as said earlier.

Oh ok, i get it now lol, all this hard work just for an extra 10 damage:lol:

it does help kingdra get around the dreaded dusknoir sf lock, night spin.
hopefully attach 1 dark energy(for total of 2 dark) to 2 kingdra line

so while you are getting around night spin, you're also ruining consistency and the main point of Kingdra. Speed.

Running 2-2 Weavile is too much and immediately screws with Kingdra's amazing consistency and speed. 1-1 in a HEAVY Dusknoir metagame is the only way I'd tech it in at all. Though even then you're still 2HKOing Dusk.

okay....changes:
-1 sneasel
-1 weavile
-2 darkness energy

+1...
+1...
+1 ...
+1 ...
I dunno what to put in place of them. I guess 1-1 is enough, but prizing one of them is a 1/5. ><" (check for accuracy lol 6x2/60 = 12/60 = 1/5. (6=no. prize cards, 2=number of weavile+sneasel))
erm, I guess azelf can help me with that. :)
but then. their is a 1/10 chance azelf is prized..... ><" together, (1/5x1/10=1/50 or 2% chance both azelf and one of the weavile line are prized)
em, please mods, move this to deck help.... ><"
erm, uh, i don't know what to add. another couple lake boundary? I want to keep kingdra consistent, but also want to keep a weavile tech.

Why would you want this moved to Deck Help? So it can be locked? The Deck Help forum requires a 60-card format legal deck, which i have yet to see.

weavile can be good tech but it goes against the grain of the examples deck to much.
kingdra swarms and donks so putting in 2-8 cards just as tech can really hurt this deck.
wiht the 2-8 cards you could put more draw/recovery cards to help speed it up and make it more consistant.
weavile teck is cool in machamp to help it kill dusky easier
weavile tech is cool in new age gardygallade/plox can speed energy attachment
but its just my opinion

He's got the decklist he just forgot to label the amount of energies in his decklist....

I run a similar deck and have made top cut in 5 cities I run 4 special dark and Uxie - a few trainers Built in plus powers are great.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

it also helps with the Dusknoir and the mr. mime tech(3 energies to attack) you don’t feel as if you are loosing turns attaching energy.

I have yet to see a 60-card list. First time i saw it, it had 2 options for energies which means it was not a full list. Last time i saw it, it was not 60 cards. This time, not 60 cards. No deck (& strategy) = not worthy of the Deck Help forum.
