Another weird thing happened to me last night.I found out that I had only 2 Ultra Balls left in my Bag.Deciding to spend my winnings from hundreds of league battles,I bought 99 Ultras.Whie catching a Staryu,When I looked at the balls pocket,it said x101.This surprised me,since what I know is that when an item of the same kind happens to be more than 99,a xN appears under it.Is it relly like that or is it out of this world?:confused:
 
if you are playing fire red, leaf green or possibly emerald i think it goes up to 999 not for sure but it goes over 100 like i got x101 full restore or something

some items only stack up to 99, and you start getting multiple stacks if you have more than 99 of them. others, like the balls, stack over 99
 
The 4th weird thing

This happened in my ROM of Fire Red in my emulator days.(Deleted them all as soon as I had my SP)I was trying to make my Chansey evolve into a Blissey.Finally,it said What?Chansey is evolving!In the middle of the scene,a weird "Huh?" appears stopping it from evolving.I didnt equip any everstones,only a soothe bell.Can anyone explain?:confused:
 
You didn't unlock the national dex then, which is required if you want pokemon to evolve into Gold/Silver series pokemon (i.e. Chansey into Blissy, Golbat into Crobat, etc.).
 
yup! It says in the guide, if you didn,t get national dex, it will stop mysteriously. SO catch 60 pokemon, beat the E4 and then oak will upgrade you!
 
That chansey thing reminds me of what happened with my meowth..
I was raising so I could get better pickup items..
I grew it to level 41 and when it started evolving.. I pressed B as usual but IT EVOLVED ANYWAY

No matter how many times I pressed it, the thing just wouldn't stop evolving.. I had to turn my game off -_-;
