Okay sorry but Lakak your never even giving us a reason to not vote for you and the majority is voting in your direction anyway.

The general sense eminating from that post seems to reek of possible roll-calling, as if hiding behind a powerful role will stave off elimination for the time being. Possibly Lakak also seeks backup from someone else to support his stance against Lil_Magma. Only time will tell in this matter.

Indeed, Lakak's second post also contains a veiled threat against another member of the community, Pokeric... I do wonder what his goal through these intimidation tactics is.

Reason?

Honestly only 2 people have shown any suspisious behavior. Lakak's threats, and Pokeric's talking backwards. The thing is, is that I am honestly scared to vote for Lakak. Looking at Lakak's posts he seems WAY TO EAGER to be voted off. Now looking at the last few times lakak was in the game, specifically mine and Cardz's last game we both gave him abilities to come back from the grave with a little revenge to go with it. In Cardz's game Lakak killed the first person to vote for him. In my game he was given the abilty of Ash Kechtum and came back to life. Shellshock929 is not an idiot, and he has been playing since Werewolf 1, so he knows all about the "Lakak tradition." Speaking from the point of veiw of a past mod, lakak is the perfect person to use as a medium to mess with the players. I am not saying Lakak is not a threat...but he may be more of a threat dead then alive. That being said, if the vote tips for Lakak, I'll gladly vote for him, but I think Pokeric might be a safer bet.

I sure hope he doesn't have to do that all game. It's really annoying to have to read. I'm sure it's equally annoying to type out... Jeez... just picture having to work your sentence backwards. :rolleyes:

I agree with what a few others are saying. Voting for Lakak seems to be a potentially dangerous idea.
 
Absoltrainer, you make some good points about why to NOT VOTE lakak, and your vote was for pokeric. But you didn't really explain your actual vote. IF Pokeric's role does involve backwards talking, why would we vote him off? at worst he's an indie, and that's at the very worst. His role leaves nothing to worry about. I'm not suspicious of you, I would just like to know YOUR reasoning.

About Lakak kinda wanting to be killed, I get where your coming from. But I also think he may be double-crossing us. I think Lakak probably has a rebirthy kinda role or a very good role. Either way, I wouldn't wanna kill him. But the way things are going, he probably will die after a while.

So who to vote for? I'm not positive right now. In the end I will probably vote Lakak just because we have NOTHING right now. I hate to do it but it's all we've got. I'd also keep an eye out as much as possible with so little evidence. We've got some great players out here, and I don't see many of us messing up. So my vote

I guess you are right, I was not very clear. Well My reasoning is very similar to most people.

It is day one, and thus we have no clues and nothing to work with. The only 2 people who had votes before I posted were pokeric and Lakak.

So going off of who had votes, I assuemed that unless something drastic happens, it will end up being one of the 2 people. I figure Lakak is a trick ( I may be wrong) so I went with the other. My vote is not a happy vote, nor do I really like it. I just figure that if I have to go with the flow, I'd rather go with one that looks like it has a smaller rip-tide.

Normally I am all for voting for people who volenteer themselves. Heck if it was anyone else, I'd be all aboard. hmmm.

^Just pointing this out: There can be quirky wolves. I.e. there was a wolf in one of my games that could only post 15 times.
The fact that Lakak is copying Pokeric (I think) shows one of two things: he's got the same type of role as pokeric, or he wants us to think that.

No changes in votes for me today. :)
 
Sorry it took me a while to post I had a bussy weekend :/. Right now I don't know who to vote for since there really is not too much to go off of at the moment. Though I do wonder why Pokeric posted backwards....so atm my vote will be

So basicly just to recap a little. we dont have any information (as is custom for day 1). Many want to vot for lakak out of tradition, but at the same time many are afraid of what he might be able to do if he is voted off. Basicly that just leaves the other character (pokeric) who is under suscpicion for some...slightly threating post. Taking these into account ive decided in the interest of just moving the game past day 1

To be perfectly honest, I'm scared by pokeric's random number generator. We could all just vote Lakak, sure. And we get some night events then wind up in exactly the same spot as right now. Most nights give subtle hints, but a mere single night usually isn't enough to put together even a list of suspicious people. And thus we'd be back to pulling straws out of a hat. We go nowhere by blindly screaming names and praying we find a wolf, especially since the wolves won't have stuck their necks out this early.

Even if Pokeric is a generic townie and not a wolf, that kind of attack pattern is WAY too dangerous to let stay. There are a couple more things I'm concerned about (like lil magma... Voting before the mod announces the game's started but after roles are announced? And seriously, if you knew about the lakak tradition, you should know how his roles wound up. :///)

and thusly, unless you have some amazingly brilliant insight for the town...

To vote off Pokeric just because he talked backwards makes no sense. Lakak was the first to do so, and he seems to be off in the clear from it. Now, I believe that Pokeric and Lakak are somehow together in this. Have you noticed that everyone else seems innocent? Only Pokeric and Lakak have been making suspicious posts, but is there a specific reason that they and only they have been making them? Lakak's post was very fishy. If Lil_Magma is going to pay for his vote, why hasn't Lakak voted against Lil_Magma? Could this imply that Lakak has a way of killing Lil_Magma without voting? If this is indeed what Lakak can do, it would come to mean that he is one of two things; a Wolf, or an Indie, either of which are extremely dangerous. I was cautious of voting for Lakak, but now, I do believe he may be an excellent first vote.

As for Pokeric, his post is a bit less fishy than Lakak's. I think Pokeric's talking backwards is made in fun at Lakak's backwards post, but it could mean something even more interesting; siblings. They may be linked together somehow, and when one dies, so does the other. Hence, the backwards post from both of them. Of course, I still see nothing too fishy about Pokeric, but I do think that we should give his posts some attention.

For me, this seems to be the best possible vote:

It sounds to me like Lakak is a ruthless and kills anyone who even has the slightest suspicion about him. Is that really who you want to keep around o_O Now what kind of creature does that sound like anyways?

Wow, there were a lot of people up past midnight. Anyway, I see Aboltrainer's logic about Pokeric and Laklak, so no voting for me until later. BTW Pokeric, you left out "of" in your backwardness. It should be
