Werewolf XIV: Team Rocket's Trap - TOWN WINS

Just wanted to post that I may be inactive for a while because I'm still having trouble with internet. I should be able to post on game days, though.
 
Be fair. It was Mother's Day weekend. Maybe she has been busy with planning for the occasion.
 
Okay, what happened is that I forgot what day of the week it was for some reason, and thought Thursday was Tuesday. Then the weekend started and I was really busy. The update will be posted tonight.
 
Late in the night, shinygyarados returned from the remains of its old laboratory, still maintaining a psychic illusion that caused it to appear human.

"Now!" someone shouted. Shinygyarados turned around, creating a barrier to deflect the inevitable attack. Bullets scattered across the ground, bouncing off the wall of psychic power.
A shadowy figure perched in one of the trees chuckled, then threw a small object toward the ground. Dust from the grenade's explosion got through the barrier, distracting the Pokemon. As soon as it lost its focus, the Rockets began attacking again. Shinygyarados collapsed, unable to continue to hold them off.

Elsewhere on the island, kwisdumb woke with a start as glass shards from the window flew through the room. Someone climbed inside, then glanced at the shadow of an enormous Pokemon waiting outside what remained of the window.

"No. Don't do this. I know you're not with Team Rocket, why are you attacking people?" she asked desperately.

"That won't fool me. Good riddance, then," the man replied curtly, releasing a snakelike Pokemon from an Ultra Ball. Kwisdumb screamed once before the Dragon-type coiled around her, choking her to death.

kwisdumb and shinygyarados were both found dead that morning. Even more disconcerting was the return of another seemingly dead townsperson, ultimatedra. Everyone left alive gathered once again to discuss who to kill next, alarmed by the possibility of Pokemon lurking in their midst as well.

Wow, so shinygyarados was mewtwo? Interesting. It looks like we know who was reviving most people. However, kwisdumb is dead by the hyper beamer? This person is killing basically everyone. kwisdumb also has a decent role. Yoshi might be active again, so maybe it could be him? The wolves also killed shiny gyarados, I'm pretty suure. Also, if the role is correct, Azure Kite and ultimatedra are clones with no special abilities but a different win condition. That's what I got from the post.

Now, i am going to be upfront about all the info i have received:
  • I received the Diary of Lucian - just showing that Waynegg is town aligned. The rest was apparently unreadable. I PM'd Lucario EX asking if i could study the book further, but got no additional info.
  • I received an item from an unknown source (Lucario EX PM'd me) - but i had no knowledge of how to use it. Lot of good that did me. :confused: I tried pleading to Lucario EX if my ability would give me info on who gave it to me, but no dice.
  • I was killed by an ability, not by wolf voting. So either an independent or wolf ability. I FINALLY got some decent use of my ability, too little too late. I got a couple of names of roles, but they are already dead now, so that info is now moot.

Now i was surprised that TheKing did not use his ability to get info from me. Being a pseudo-seer, i would think i would be a prime target.

My interpretations:
Firstly, SG was on the ropes for inactivity last game day,yet the wolves decide to kill him. Was he on to something in one of their posts or was it a random kill?

Secondly, I saw nothing in the role with regards to Red, and SG didn't seem to defend anything that was said by Pikamaster. For one reason or another, Pikamaster was lying, is this another of the "Only Kanto characters remain" roles? Pika, are you trying to siphon out real town as compared to your Kanto Faction? If you really even are Red.

Sounds like Lance for sure now; Gyarados and Dragonair. Reinforces the whole Kanto Faction thing that was in the Lt. Surge role.

Azure Kite is 90% likely to be a Clone, probably worth ignoring him for now.

I don't think Ultimatedra was killed for being a clone. Azure Kite didn't get killed, I think that was just the backlash from Headsrcool's role.
 
I am wondering why the wolves made a seemingly random kill over someone that could prove to be a real threat to their campaign (like Pikamaster). I think they either knew who Mewtwo was before hand and made the choice to kill him when his time for being useful was up or (as someone said a while back) a wolf has a blocking ability which was used on someone like Pikamaster.
 
I realized after that post that I mucked up saying Headsrcool killed you anyway. :/
After a bit of skim reading, I now know 100% he is Red, without Diaz's confirmation. I also realize, that A) Lt. Surge was a solely independent character, scratch my theory on factions and B) that by extension, Lance is a complete independent who, for some reason or another, has characters try and convert him during the scenarios.

As for my reasoning:

Just wanted tie up those loose ends, just in case anyone was being distracted by them like I was, and to remove doubt that I am an idiot. .___.;
Also, sorry for the quick accusation in your direction Pikamaster, I realize now why it all makes perfect sense.
 
The clones seem relatively innocent to me. They have no role and are unable to win the game, so they pose absolutely no threat to anyone.

But in any case, I'm surprised no one has come up with this yet. Remember Pikamaster's post?

I find it incredibly unlikely that there are two Mewtwos. As far as Pokemon manga cannon is concerned, correct me if I'm incorrect in this regard, but I believe there is only one Mewtwo, same with all legendary Pokemon. To me, it seems unlikely that there would be two roles that directly involve Mewtwo.

Also, note the polarity of the two roles; Pikamaster's allows him to kill two people and Shinygyarados revived people from the dead. There is absolutely no consistency there.

Therefore, I would debate that perhaps Pikamaster partially lying about his role or just completely lying about his role. People who lie about their roles oftentimes have roles that are harmful towards the town's well-being.

I'd like to hear what you have to say about this, Pikamaster. How do you explain the existence of two entirely different Mewtwos?

I found a computer at school that was able to use a proxy to go on pokegym! Yay me!

Now, i am going to be upfront about all the info i have received:

Ok, maybe I should've read the role better. Now that we know that the clones are basically innocent, we can discuss things whithout worry about it (most likely).

Now that I can get a chance to make a decent post and try to have a chance to show what I know, I think this:
Yoshi seemed to be active this time. Maybe he could be the Hyper Beamer.
TheKing didn't bother getting info from ultimatera. That iis very odd.
Pikamaster, while an active member of the town, has some conflicting arguements about mewtwo. Maybe thats why shinygyarados was incredibly suspicious of him and layed low most of the time. We need to hear what he says.

The wolves seemingly targeted shinygyarados. Maybe they targeted him because he was a veteran and did not say much of his role. afterall, no one voted him and someone out there is killing townies and wolves.

Also, Pikamaster didn't kill anyone whith his 'role'. It seems incredibly odd this happened, because the wolves hidn't kill him. Maybe he was priested (I think it blocks the role, right?) or maybe roleblocked. Eiither way, it's what you get when you role reveal, as shinygyarados said.

The bolded are probably not a threat. There are two wolves (maybe 3, but most likely two I think because of the special powers given) There is probably 1-2 independents (Hyper Beamer and maybe someone else?)
The people in italics are who some of us (including me) are suspicious of. Pokemonfreak5 was suspicious of Victory Bell of bandwagoning. Obviously, and slip ups will be taken more harshly.

That's what I think anyway. Opinions? Thoughts?

No, but this is very interesting. In the past, I thought people died automatically when their win condition was vanquished. But whatever. Guys I'm sorry I haven't been as active in this game. It's hard to get into when you die, give up, then out of nowhere you're back in.

Anywho, good points have been made so far, I apologize for my lack of contribution once again....but yes, let's here from Pikamaster. I'm surprised we haven't investigated him sooner, he's been rather fishy this game.

I just wanted to clarify what I said in my previous post. I'm a little OCD, and can't edit, so yeah.
 
Me being a point of controversy? Interesting... Now, before I say anything about me, I have reason to believe that Oca is a wolf. If this it true, the wolves have some form of role-blocking power, either once every other night or they just can't target the same person twice in a row. Why? Night's 3 and 5 I was role blocked.

Now, about me. Yes, I blatantly lied about having Mewtwo. I figured that that would be a good alternative to the truth about why I've become powerful.
