What beats AMU?!

I have already explained why Luxray overall is NOT a good tech against AMU. Luxray is IMO a very risky play. Not all new decks will run Lv.x you know, and many of them that do can easily survive with out it.

um its a deck by itself lol. And what decks wont play level x s tell me and dont tell me youll find out or anything dumb like that. ohko kingdras and pixies. has a good matchup against zone and leafeon.... so tell me darthpika what is the so called 'new deck'.

Well, maybe "AMU" seems like a hard deck to beat but when I started to test it I began to realize
that it has very hard time to decks that can constantly hit 90 damage or more... maybe you can
hope to spam supreme blast against decks like kingdra or torterra but in the long run is difficult to
do it, it's all about who take the first price and if either players can constantly OHKO their
opponent's pokes. You'll need lucky flips with energy pickup... maybe your opponent will not need
luck just some type of energy acceleration(like in flygon/regirock). I spected more from this deck
as I spent $40 to get all the pixies, but I'm ok with that, I'm glad to see that this format is gonna
be more interesting.

It sounds stupid at first, but, when you show up to a tourney, you have a deck that WINS more than LOSES regardless right? So, do you.
EVERYONE will have Pokemon knocked out NO MATTER WHAT your deck is.
The thing is, do you have a plan A B and C or are you just planning on building up to ONE BIG BLASTING character and hoping he lives forever?
It's NOT the DECK... it's how you build it and HOW YOU PLAY IT.
I've seen a clever Swampert deck take down AMU... I've seen Kingra take down AMU, I've seen MewTwoX (3-1) take it down...
on that same note, I've seen AMU beat alot of decks too.
It's not always the list man ...
It's the player.
Build a scheme that MAKES SENSE TO YOU.
Understand YOUR mechanics
and FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY ....
Stop trying to SNATCH a LIST and plug-n-play a deck all of the time!!!!

-Luxray LA is brutal, doing 90 for :lightning:colorless, or even more...
-Mewtwo Lv.X isn't as good as it seems but it can still work.
-Mightyena LA will do 30 with not attack or retreat.
-Any

haha luxray a bad deck? idk how your running it but unless your running groudon it has great matcups with everything.. except amu but i havent ran my new luxray against amu but i guess it could work it just doest seem fast enough imp. and as for a mewto deck thats three cards in my deck that are only good against one deck... idk im thinkin just a dusknoir tech

just run a 1-3 mewto lv x (yes 1 mewto and 3 lv x) and hope to god that all 3 of the lv x don get prized xD
then run 4 quick ball and 4 premier ball and 4 bebes and you win against amu
then run 4 quick ball and 4 premier ball and 4 bebes and you win against amu
That really can't keep up with Bronzong spreading a good 80-100 damage inbetween two turns not including pain amplified damage or manipulation from cresselia and previous froslass damage with the addition of spiritomb damage. Plus you are letting bronzong coat while still damaging your bench and active and you are forced to heal your bench... GET REAL!

Gyarados, Gliscor, Kingdra, Luxray, and a lot more decks have pretty good matchups against AMU.
It really doesn't seem like that great of a deck.
