What do you think the next generation of Pokemon will include?

Hey, you're forgetting that these games are made in Japan. If they made legendaries of Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini, they'd surely make one for Tojo.

I reckon it would be cool if when you bred 2 different species of Pokemon.. Ok it's a bit hard to explain in those words words.

Let's say I breed Empoleon and Charizard(although that's not possible.) and I get a Piplup.
The Piplup will be not only a water-type, but also a fire-type.
Then when it becomes an Empoleon it will be a Fire/Steel/Water type.
BUT,(always a but) a Pokemon can only have a maximum of 3 types.

So scream when my non weak Salamence Dragon/Flying/Ice type owns you.

Umm... ever heard of pokemon red/blue rescue team? that wasn't going by the gym leader story... instead someone from the real world.... got transported into a pokemon world... and became a pokemon.... yeah...

and i agree, some things aren't meant to evolve... like snorlax? do not make him evolve, EVER
 
Why do you fools think there is not going to be another gen.? Pokemon has dished it out for almost 12 years. I don't think the momentem is weak enuff for even Nintendo to stop it yet... Nor do I think it will slow down any time soon...
 
Pokemon: Barrel Roll Edition!
Everyone gets to press Z or R twice to do a barrel roll. Even Kakuna! It's two moves are "Harden" and "Barrel Roll". And you come across Team Rocket in disguise and Peppy is in the background saying "It's a trap!"
 
Why is it that people feel 500 Different Pokemon is the stopping point? Nice round Number perhaps. Seeing as how it's still a Major money maker, i don't think they'll just say "Well we've made a ton of cash, let's stop now." Look at Microsoft, I don't see him stopping with New Operating Systems anytime soon. Bottom line, they'll stop coming up with New Pokemon Generations when we stop buying them. Sales drive everything, if the Mustangs don't make money for Ford, they'll stop producing them. Same with everything else. So as long as they make money, Pokemon will be here to stay. As for who should evolve and who shouldn't, That's a matter of Opinion.
 
They won't stop until a main Pokemon generation sells less than 500k worldwide. And that's not going to happen ANY time in the near future.

I think he may have meant "A storyline that doesn't suck a thousand times more than the main games do."
Mystery Dungeon falls into the "sucks a thousand times more" category.
 
new pokemon game

I don't remember were i read this but the new game's for DS is going to be called Soul Silver and Hart Gold and they are going to be recreation of silver and gold or red and blue.
 
There are so many siggable lines in this thread.

On topic: I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be Lv. X'es in the VG.

I agree that some things shouldn't have evolved, like magnezone or magmortar. Maybe yanmega.
Things that shouldn't evolve:
Aerodactyl (duh)
Snorlax (may bad things happen to the person that makes this evolve)
Jynx (OMG bad things WILL happen to people that see this Pokemon's evolution)
Tauros and Miltank (please no, We don't need uber bulls and uber cows)
Maybe corsola, only if the evolution doesn't look awful.
Relicanth (it survived for millions of years w/o evolving. It can stay that way)

And there will be others...

And the next generation will include starters, a new pokemon for each type, an HM slave, a flyer, a legendary trio, box-art pokemon, then some secret rare stuff :biggrin:

They SHOULD finish the eeveelutions only if they aren't horrible, like if you give the Ghost one Obliveon as its name, it better not look lame...

I think there should be the finishing of the eevelutions and a evolution to a new legendary Pokemon for a change instead them being so powerful that they can't evolve, I also would love to see an evolution to Heracross or something like that or another Scizor or Steelix evolution. LOL. I believe the fifth gen might be the last or the sixth but definitely not the fourth gen being the last.
