Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What is your fav. type and color of sleeves?

red ultra pro! they're sweet and never slick, and very reliable, since i tear bad sleeves within the week or two i really like these,

and white dragon shield also, the white lets it so you see a faint picture of the back of the pokemon card, they just look awesome to me!

So I opened up my White Ultra pro sleeves last night and... they are sooooooo slick! I couldn't even get them out of my deckbox with out dropping a bunch! Easy to shuffle tho.

my question: are the worlds sleeves COMPLETELY banned? Because in my worlds bag my packs both had white edges. Would these be legal? I need a wuick answer, BR's tomorrow!!

This must be PokeGym's longest running poll atm.

*looks around for mods*

Anyway, I refuse to spend decent money on sleeves cos unless they are made of kevlar or something, they are not going to survive more than 1 tourney (if that) in a perfect state, and I am not taking the risk of being DQ'd for marked sleeves.

The JPN Arceus sleeves are great to play with and look awesome. Apart from that I like matt black or white sleeves.

players choice will solve your problems.

Silver DS, Blue DS, Japanese pika sleeves .
The DS are the only one i can play more than 1 tourney with, so pretty obvious.
The Japanese pika sleevs just look so good.

I gotta agree on the Pink Dragonshield sleeves, I have had mine for 2 years now i think, they are still great!

For people all the way up there on the top of the page, D-Shields cost 3.99 for a 100 pack at my LCS. I use silver D-Shields, they just don't get bent.

Purples and pinks oh my..... I am from the dallas area and haven't seen a single guy or girl for that matter rocking the pinks... I def. saw some unsleeved play this weekend.. It just hurts the heart when someone is running a TSD unsleeves. Or as Mr Meches said to me this weekend, he saw a kid running Luxray Gl Lv.X unsleeved. How rude lol.

I think DragonShields are...$5.00 at my LCS/LGS for 100?

Anyway, after playing with some Player's Choice sleeves this weekend, I must retract my previous statement. The new hierarchy goes...

KMC > Player's Choice > DragonShield

@DarkWater: It seems like quite a few people in this thread aren't Pro-Ultra Pro (lawl). I'm not necessarily anti Ultra Pro, I just don't see what the hoopla is about. I've used their sleeves a few times and I find that KMC, Dragon Shields, and Player's Choice are superior.

However, I don't know the price of Ultra Pros off hand, so if they're a great deal cheaper, they could be the wiser purchase, as far as quality:cost goes.

Agreed. I have recieved PM's saying ultra pro is the way to go.

I went to Japan last year and bought some baby blue Pokeball sleeves. They look fine, but according to the feel... I'd have to go ultra pro. and I had to get ultra pro because that is the only legal sleeves the shop had.
