So I have been thinking and really going back and looking at the finer details of artwork in a lot of cards
as well as a lot of cards from when I was younger and played.
I think my favorite card of all time is Feraligatr Expedition #12.
Probably top 5 artwork in my opinion, and the card was actually decent back in the day.

Vileplume UD. While I didn't play a Trainer Lock deck in the 2011-2012 season, it still has a place in my heart with Gengar SF. They both helped me win a Regionals and a Spring BR in my first season ever.

From my first go around in the game, Gust of Wind, Dark Vileplume, and Sneasel were some of my favorites.

Since I started playing again, Tyranitar Prime, Sneasel/Weaville UD, Smeargle UD, Celebi Prime, Chandelure NVI, Darkrai EX, Vileplume UD, Mew Prime, Cleffa, PONT, Professor Juniper, and Skyla.

Hands down, Umbreon Prime. My very first competitive deck was centered around it. I kicked some serious tail with it. That with Special Darkness Energy and Umbreon UD was pretty beast. The fact that Umbreon Prime had a built-in SSU wasn't bad either.

*sigh* Good times.

Claydol GE and Uxie LA. Those two cards defined a format and made any fun deck viable. With how important they were, most games were decided by who could get a Claydol down first. I really, really miss Pokemon based draw support.

My favorite art is definitely Base Set Dragonair.

The art was so avant-garde in an era of static Sugimori portraits. Hyper Beam is also one of my favorite attacks printed on any card. Unfortunately, the card wasn't quite ever Tier 1 because of the existence of Energy Removal and Super Energy Removal, although I did play it a ton.

Cinccino BW. Played it from the beginning of the year until Dark Explorers. Loved it, and miss it dearly. T_T

Some other of my favorites: Scrafty BW, Super Rod, Mew EX, and Vileplume UD. I'm obviously a newb (though I did play Haymaker back in the day, but didn't really love the cards).

Brock's Ninetales. It's such an awsome, unique card. :p

Artwise, maybe the Kyurem Box Kyurem (the one with the pack art) or Undaunted Scyther.

Larvitar UL, the one with Mountain Eater.

It could KO Tynamos for a single Energy last format, making it fantastic in Eels mirror, and could even win clutch games with Mountain Eater (Top 8 Worlds Game 3! ;) )

Mine has to be Riptide Feraligatr. That was the first deck that I ever managed to create both (a) competitively and (b) completely on my own. I know that there were known builds of that deck. But nobody built theirs like mine. And mine was still pretty darn good. I think it missed the Top Cut at a Stadium Challenge by percentage points or something like that. I still love that card and that deck, and I still have the entire thing together over a decade after the fact.
