What might Win

Wow! SP has to have lux and lucario to ohko a gyarados...how irrelevant when gyarados needs no energy and no tech to ohko a lux. I went 4-2 against luxchomp at states, with the 2 losses being donks.

110 tail revenge says hi. Lucario is what LuxChomp *needs* to keep up with gyarados.

No no. I agree with you. LuxChomp NEEDS Lucario to do that.
However, most lists do have it and so its not easy for Gdos to win.

And if your doing 110 that means your belted. THat means a Trash Bolt with Flash Bite = 2 prizes.

No. If Gyarados is belted that means that Luxray will be knocked out that turn therefore not being able to trash bolt next turn.

As for me, I still think a good rogue will win. That rogue being Garchomp Rush. (Stage 2)

It murders Gyarados. Has 50/50 Luxchomp match ups and is really good against Jumpluff.
It outspeeds Tyrannitar and Dialga G.
Overall, after some weeks of testing, Garchomp Rush can do really well.

Quoted for truth. I feel the 50/50 is generous towards LuxChomps but otherwise stated beautifully. but if it is to win, it needs unown g to prevent damage counters and make the opponent hit it.

ummm, so gyarados can do 110 to the active and take out a benched luxray gl for 80 all in one turn, so that there is no way i can aarons, premier ball, or nm then radar/ bebes to get it back?

wow, i should so reconsider gyarados, its like broken and stuff... the way you play it [/ sarcasm]

(you play the match up luxray swarmmm with lucario)

i do think gyarados can win it though my money is on luxchomp!

Gyarados doesn't take forever to set up. You can get Luxray back. 2 Energy, a gain, and an energy in hand is what you are not going to get when Gyarados continually knocks you out. Even if you always get that stuff back you can't attach 2 energy in one turn which you would need to do to continually trash bolt to compete with a belted Gyarados.

Gyarados won our nats,(México) saddly i must say that lucario is a prior need to counter him (gyarados), so they run 2-2 Palkias LvX (restructure) to force Lucario GL being active then OHKO it, without the resources to get lucario back gyarados is a strong contender, it's true you can always OHKO Gyarados but you're not always able to replenish your attack lines next turn if they OHKO you, Gyarados CAN be back like 3 or 4 times it depends on the player's skill if he's able to do so, however we couldn't add JUDGE to our nationals on time, so Gyarados is not a contender at U.S nats neither worlds IMO
just because of decks that abuse on hand punishment, Like PLOX, Sablelock and a wide variety of rogues as Magnezone Entei Raikou w/tomb or Garchomp SV...

2-2 palkia x restructure =s
ive heard of list playing it but a 2-2 line just seems really clunky
not to mention luxray kind of outshines it atm

Yep, it's known by everyone there was a lot of secret tech added to fix the luxray trouble aswell, but it's just a deck that cannot be competitive at U.S due Judge and Sablelock

You're ignorant. Look at Regionals results. Gengar/Machamp, Dialga, and DPL. BRs brought us Luxape and Flygon variants. Nidoqueen makes it harder to work around Fainting Spell, and gives Gengar the option for solid damage vs. smart luxape players who tuck their trainers under to minimize poltergeist. Having a nice Raybees matchup doesn't hurt either.

I see what you did there.

Just putting it into the universe: E.G.G. could easily win. It has good matchups across the board, Power Lock and disruption from turn 1. A good player with just a little luck will win with it.

Palkia Lock, LuxChomp, DialgaChomp (Pooka), LuxPluff, Donphan Mesprit will also top cut.

Um, what exactly is EGG? The last part is probably Gardy and Gallade, but E?
