Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What song are you listening to right NOW?

Hardly beautiful, and HARDLY qualifies as music... >_>

Don't be a hater just because you don't like the same music as someone. Ereybody has different taste, and there's nothing that make you opinion more valid then anyone else's.

Coming Undone ~ Korn

Gene Ammons and Sonny Stitt playing "Autumn Leaves" from the album Boss Tenors: Straight Ahead from Chicago 1961. Every time I hear these guys solo, I swear, it's like they are reading a written solo. It is always so perfect.

You know, something tells me that you didn't even take the time to listen to it, or read the lyrics. If you did, and didn't like it, that's your opinion. Keep it to yourself. I don't enjoy a lot of the music in this thread, but you don't see me going around saying that it isn't music. It is. And so is Ne Obliviscaris. I really like the band. I like the violin, the vocals, bass, etc. But, that's my opinion. The least you could do is respect it, and the music. x_x

"Cindy Incidentally" - Faces

The lyrics don't mean anything if its just screaming.
Guitars, fine, drums, fine, violin, fine, bass, fine, screaming, bad.

There IS a difference between sound, and music. I run over a cats tail with my car, and the cat screams. That's a sound, with no tone that is nice enough to be put into music. Now, if I take a guitar and strum it, now THATS a sound that works for music. It sounds nice, works with other notes in a song and allows for a melody.

I'm really fine with most music out there, but there are SO many songs that COULD be good that are ruined by some mindless screaming.

"Over You" ~ Chris Daughtry

1) It isn't mindless. The vocals have a lot of emotion behind/in them. I understand that you don't like the vocals, as many people don't. It takes talent, though, and you could AT LEAST respect it. It is music whether you like it or not.
2) It is pointless to argue about music, for it is just a matter of opinion. We all have different tastes, but you don't have to go around bashing other's music.

BTW, the lyrics do mean something. They are some of the most profoundly amazing lyrics I have ever read. It's poetry.

I started a thread about that... And he even posted in it. Haha.
