Also run Boost and a few scrambles on top of that. A possible 120 is very handy.

Also why PETM over Celios? Cut down on the Lanettes as you have Paras for basics.
And Rare Candy? =\ I dont really see the point. You can make a lot of room for other trainers. ATM Rocks, Shards, Techy things etc come to mind.

(Or try going Magmar TRR and Electrode ex)

No switch? Seems to me like it'd fit well in here. I don't think you're wanting to rely on retreating to move things around.

Another option for this deck that you may consider is using Magmar RR and Electrode ex, along with the inclusion of Scramble Energy (instead of DRE). Magmar provides a lot of draw power, and would be best used early on, providing a great setup. When the timing's right, KO your Trode ex for 5 Energy CARDS back into play (yes, Trode ex can pull any 5 energy cards, not just basics). This may provide for a far more destructive deck, especially when utilizing Scramble Energy.
 
You sir, have made my day. I'll give the magmar/trode engine a shot and see how well it does.

As for switch, *slaps self for overlooking eggy's retreat cost*

Looks like my old deck. Exeggutor and Parasect really works great together.
Try Scramble Energy. Instead of Switch put in Fluffy Berry.

parasect fits well with exxeguttor, but i prefer playing it with trode ex and magmar, so give it a try.

in this deck, try adding more grass energy for parasect's attack.
