Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What Will Dominate at Worlds 2009 and Why?

And? What is that suppose to mean? Please do not judge decks when you actually never played against one.

In fact, any deck is a good choice, you just need to find the right version.

Pun: A play on words, sometimes on different senses of the same word.

Grinding into worlds. The attack Grind on ttar. He was making a funny. Hence the *giggle*. Sometimes, these forums make me face palm.

Oh, my bad. I thought people didn't like Tyranitar. I get the joke. I would eat mice if a red face paint deck like Scizor/Toxicroak won Worlds again.

What can we expect for worlds?

->all decks which do well ar US national

I think a worlds player have two choices:

1. Play Meta, but play it better and run the right techs

or

2. Play someting new and hope you are lucky.

and btw i think the japanese come up with a new SD. thay play the new cards much longer than we. they know the tricks.

BibMagius is obviously not that great of a deck for Worlds. I tested so many lists I saw here out and they lost to Gengar, Tyranitar, and even Kingdra.

If you made your own version that's a different story.

I meant the ones people were testing and the lists that they over hyped in some threads.

^ Give me or yoyo a match up.

Seriously.

BibMagius doesn't have a single loss in the book, period.

every single person who played gechamp made top cut.
that was about 8. just to put out there.

Lol, it loses SO BAD to Luxape. They can do nothing without Claydol. You Unown G Infernape, KO Claydol with Lux/Energy Gain, and then sweep with Ape. And this isn't theoreymon, this is PROOF, I have actually tested it (WOAH, HARD TO BELIEVE!!!).

GeChamp is the most inconsistent deck ever. Yes, it has good matchups against a lot, but when 2/3 of your starts are bad, it won't be able to keep up.

you must not know how to build a deck then lol

Kingdra? Tyranitar? Dialga G?

Let me know.

Kingdra doesn't have much to play around with on a T1 Mesprit, it's much more crippled than T-Tar. It'll prolly play without Uxies here too in fear of Mismagius shuffling in its bench. Without Powers, the T2 damage from the deck really hits hard on Kingdra's board. How did you lose to Kingdra? The deck is so fragile without powers. T-Tar, how did you not outspeed it? You do 60, Amnesia Grind, and 60 again FTKO. T-Tar also has a hard time without Powers. And in both Kingdra and T-Tar, Devoluter plays do wonders.

Dialga G has nothing on BibMagius, T1 Amnesia Deafen and then run in with a T2 60. Dialga players will NOT be attacking with Dialga, it's suicide. That said, everything else Mismagius takes care of, and their bench space is crippled (So they're limited on Uxies and need to plan appropriately if they even try to Power Spray).

...

Also, I stand by Yoyo's analysis on GeChamp vs LuxRape. If Claydol was ever a crutch in any deck, it's this one. I will admit, you're pretty screwed if they rip a T1 KO, but since this isn't straight Machamp it's HIGHLY unlikely. Machamp needs an entire deck to itself just to pull T1 KO's, I don't get how adding Gengar to the mix improves it. I can see, say a Gengar with a 1-0-1 Champ for Dialga G. But I've never been a fan of a deck based on both.

Much praise to those who can make it work every game, because I simply can't rip hands like that.

T-Tar, Unown G the T-Tar, charge with Weavile, and Spinning Tail twice and Omastar to win the entire game.

lol, okay? Dialga G could use second strike or remove lost the Bibareal and Mismagius. I have special metals, I have berthas, there... The 60 is already gone. I would rather Amnesia the second strike because with a Crobat drop or Skunktank G, more Bibareals just get KO'd by it. Mismagius, tell me you do 80, I would usually have at least 1-2 Special Metal by T2, 40? Okay, Bertha's.

^ I'm not gonna break a Mesprit lock the turn T-Tar needs to Unown G. Charge with Weavile? Ok, start with Sneasel if I go first, I KO you T2. Go second, I'll Mesprit lock. You're seriously not gonna get half the stuff out you need to under a Mesprit lock. GL Setting up an Omastar play without powers.

Well I'm definitely not dumb enough to send out Magius against a Dialga G, I said when you have to send out something else. I said T1 Amnesia Deafen so it'd be harder to lead into a T2 Second Strike without as much damage on Biberal. You're really gonna pull Special Metals AND a Bertha's all by T2/3? How many Bertha's are you playing, lol? Dialga G's never gonna get enough energy to Remove Lost before Biberal KO's it.

Ok, say you get a Special Metal on. I go first, Amnesia, you go, attach and pass, I go, Mesprit lock (Please don't tell me you can Power Spray it) + 50/60. Your turn, you're gonna Bertha's, Level Up, AND get another Special Metal on? There's no way you're gonna grab a Bertha's this early, and if you're lucky enough to get the rest then obviously the same luck can go in my favor for 3 PlusPowers. And if you don't attach a Metal BOTH of the first turns of the game, I easily KO you by T3. You can't drop Crobats under a Power lock, either. To change the scenerio, if I go 2nd you still can't T1 Deafen, I go 2nd, yeah THEN I'll Amnesia Second Strike. I'm good to go there too, just getting a KO a turn later. I'll admit, by that point your resources are much readily avaible, but I'll have a steady stream of 60's coming at ya by then.

Not unless I Mesprit first, so what if you Mesprit. Weavile? Okay, I BTS to Weavile T1, BTS/Rare Candy all the way to T-Tar attach the energy to T-Tar. Charge up the T-tar with Special Darks or anything. KO my Weavile, I bring T-Tar up, Upper Energy and Grind to KO your whatever. Then Spinning Tail three times or even twice with heal and win game.

Dialga G, getting an energy on Dialga G on both those turns, power spraying the mesprit lol, and getting a Bertha's is usually common for Dialga G decks to get or Kingdra match up, I don't depend on Luxray too much. Maybe I can Mesprit drop, I also run Luxray G Lv.X for the early KO's with Bright look and free prizes. I wonder if Palkia G Lv.X could do anything in the deck other than sniping Mismagius off the bat. 4 Bertha's also.

Well, you're a Masters, I'm a 2nd year seniors, we see things differently.

Lol, this is so hilarious how much people will actually argue against a joke deck.

It's ok Shanks, you're properly informed on every match-up. :) Don't worry 'bout the differing age divisions.

I'd keep the gag running but I feel like so much of an idiot blaspheming through each match-up. I prolly look like one, too. Yoyo, however, might have a different spin on things!

It is so factual that Gechamp is inconsistent.

I personally think that luxape will domonate and flygon will do good.......:thumb:
