What was the point in re-posting a result that was already posted? You could of just quoted the post and mentioned that.

Wow how dose a Chandyplume beat a Durant in a Top Cut?

Ive seen most ChandyPlumes tech a Victini to counter it.

Yea but you return the OHKO's with Cobalion and then mill them out again. Also thier twins are uslesss against you so it really slows them down. Ovioulsy the Victini tech can work as a Chandyplume can beat durant, I just never had one take more then 3 prizes from before I won.

Virtually none of the Durants I've seen have run Cobalion. And those that run Cobalion lose the insane speed and consistency that make Durant such a powerful deck.

As far as Chandelure, if you're trying to KO each Ant individually, you're going to lose pretty much every time. What Chandelure will generally do is put 6 damage counters on each Durant over 4 turns (with Dodrio), then use the 5th turn to KO all 4 Durants for the game.

i've beaten durant by doing one at a time a few times. they can't bring back a durant after it's gone. if they flower shop, that's a turn they have to wait to get the durants down. they will slowly mill less and less until you flower shop cards back in and get rid of durants. i've actually seen someone win by pulling up the durant's cobalion and tail coding all the energy off the cobalion. there is more than one way to win.

Your kidding, most of the durrants out here have at least one teched Cobalion. And not I do not loose speed or consistancy, and I can still win games where i have multiple durants prized to start. So Cobalion is a good play in Durant,

Yea but the milling kills your set up. I just have had not trouble beating it and am surprised that others have. The Truth Decks and Chandlure are so slow that by the time they have attackers ready you have milled over half the deck. Plus you can allways take out a Victini with a Black Belted Durant. (They never like it when you do that)

black belted durant? idk, that seems suspect. chandelure dosen't need to play vitcini to win. you can actually beat a durant milling 4 when you knock out the first one at ~20 cards. it's a very close matchup; how both players start is crucial.

This is not a counter argument, rather a curiosity: how do you guys deal with a Cobalion start and no switch?

I run two switch. Dont usually run into Cobalion starts, Seem to get more Rotom starts then Cobalion. But depending on the deck, if I do start with Cobalion I usualy switch to Agro cobalion mode instead of milling and try to win the game on prizes. I have won 3 games with Cobalion Donks on T2 or T3 on thier only Pokemon. Plus Cobalion is the only hope to beat the mirror if you go second and they get the T1 mill 4.
