What format is that.
And Kecleon is horrible.
Energy Search>Smeargle any day. Why would you waste an attack when you can energy search+Spinda for a T1 40.
Reversal, Root Fossil, Energy Restore?

I remember seeing this somewhere and the Fossil was there to absorb the Kecleon's damage if it backfired.

I find it the most fun to come up with a new idea, and work with it until it's good. I've put together a few of the archetyped decks and found them to be unfun in the max. Especially anything Blissey or Empoleon related. Cheap wins are hollow victories.

Yep, probably something like this:
2 totodile MT
2 totodile DF
1 chikorita DF
2 chikorita MT

You may even(with the corsola start) consider playing a 1-1 fearow for some extra speed.

alright, ill deffenatly give that a shot. thanks.

fo sho.
i played my gastrodon weavile deck that i had thought up by myself and played it at two cities and everyone i played against was really impressed with how well the random combanation worked. i would have made it T4 if it werent for such dumb luck. but yea theres not quite much as rewarding as when you make some kind of deck with random stuff and it works.

try Gyarados MT + Gardi PK...it's fun to play and also not that bad in tournament!!!

thats a very interesting idea, i might just give that one a try to. unless im mistaken gyarados is resistant to gallade, which makes it all the better.

edit: i was also pondering the idea of weavile with quagsire and sharpedo, start with weavile and power up the quagsire, bring that up and start hitting the active for 80 (because of dark) and the bench for 20, while at the same time setting up damage for sharpedo.

or raichu with luxray and electivire, you power up the luxray, bring that active and use its attack and move the energies to vire and ko what ever kos luxray
anyone think either of those could work ok?

and another thank you to everyone who's puttin up suggestions.

I made a little deck for fun to counter the metagame (Being Blissey, Gallade/Gardevoir, any thing -ario, and even Feraligatr), consisting of Flygon ex d (and regular d), Exeggutor d, and Ray ex d. At first, it was just a deck for fun, but then I began play testing it, and realized it was awesome! It is a really fun deck, because, although there's no huge hitter, when combined with Lake Boundaries, I can OHKO any of these widely used cards, with no draw back, as all of these dudes are already x2 weak, or not weak at all (Flex/Rex).

that's just florida.dec. =/

anyways, a fun deck is empoleon/omastar. put everything in ko range and pull down ftw. ;P

that does sound quite good, the only problem i see is that it has ex's, but theyre both fairly large ones that wont get ko'ed easy. i think im going to try that out at league tonight.
thanks.

empoleon omastar sounds fun to. i would only have to ice blade a gallade or gardivoir twice to ko them. very nice.

I agree. And although it used to be talked about, not many have been using FlyVire, which I've started calling Powersurge. I have been working on it since July, and people now tell me their impressed with its speed.

I thoroughly enjoy playing my deck so much for 3 reasons:
1) It uses my favorite new pokémon (Electivire)
2) Nobody else I know uses it (Last year I played Super Stantler, which nobody else I know played)
3) It is my own creation (Kazambolt's Electivire thread provided the original foundation, but my deck now bears little resemblance to the list posted)

What I am saying is that if you make your own deck with your own idea, you will have fun playing it because you will take pride in the very fact that it is your own creation. Heck, if that idea also involves a pokémon you like, not necessarily for reasons pertaining to pokémon tcg, it only augments that feeling of pride. Good luck with your deck.

dark ninja- if we were still in that format then i wouldnt need have created this thread because metagross and dragonite would still be around and i would still be playing that.

g-dog- thats very ture. its awesome when you make a deck that no one else has and it works great.

oliver- quickatune has no class, but honchkrow would prolly be fun seeing as how i love to agravate people.

i played banette and came 3rd so that was pretty cool.
but i couldnt get a set up deck together in time so that was a shame.

thanks again.

Don't use Omastar Empoleon. I was testing it out in the pre season and it didn't work. It sound great untill you actually use it. lol
