Whats the best draw engine for Gyarados?

I'm just getting back into the TCG and now that Claydol has bit the dust, I want to know what are the best draw engines for Gyarados? More importantly, whats best to recover from something like a Let loose Giratina or a Judge?

Uxie/Uxie X?

Supporters?

I want some opinions

Running several Volkner's Philosophy is generally the way people go about recovering from this, iirc.

2-3 Bebe's usually works the best and I run cynthia over volkner since it helps late game and really all you need to discard is regice.

2 Uxie, some Junk Arm/SSU/Seeker to potentially resue them, 2-3 Volkner, Smeargle and a VS Seeker is a good place to start.

4 collector
4 volkner
2 bebe
1 cynthia
1 judge

3 Junk Arm
1 VS seeker

That's my supporter line. Hasn't failed me yet, and saved my bacon in the game that I was judged/let loosed multiple times. Too many people not taking into account that your uxies can/will be sprayed at times, you need a SOLID draw supporter. Seeker ends up giving your opponent an extra "set up" as well, or recovering an injured poke. JA/VS seeker allows for multiple use of the Cynthia/Judge as well.

1 Volkners seems like suicide in a deck that can easily be crippled by a Judge.

^^pro player that doesn't use twins/seeker to make the top tables

I'd try and fit just 1 seeker though in your list man. Coupled with vs seeker the versatility is too good. Especially cause you only play one, you wouldn't feel the need to burn through it whenever you draw into it either, plus lessens the amount of time you opponent can abuse it too.

Since you aren't playing seeker did you drop your warp count as well?

My energy line is:

2 Warp
2 Sp Darkness
2 Rescue

Too many people underestimate attacking with Sableye mid-late game, and think that I run SP dark for donks. It also provides a retreatable energy without losing a gained effect at the same time as providing an energy I can attack with.

Quoted for truth and win.

I myself can't resist the possibility for donk and usually play 3 Sp. Dark for that reason :dark:

Sableye is also an EXCELLENT way of not having to have gyarados eat fainting spells from opposing gengars

Thanks for the lists guys Theres alot of stuff i'm playing around with.

Now that I see Junk Arm is basically a extra trainer+ VS = Supporter every turn, I think I'll splash a few goodies like Twins and Volkners (especially with a T1/T2 Sableye  )

For energy I'm torn on Rescue energy. Its REALLY good, especially with a speed deck like Dos but I really want to try two Multi Energies for my Sableyes and Donphan Prime tech.

Right now I'm thnking:

3 communication
3 Volkners
1 Twins
1 Bebes
1 Judge
4 Junk Arms
1 Seeker

If I get crazy or desperate I might add an Uxie X once I have the $$$

how many BTS do you guys run? I might drop down to 3.

EDIT: LOL I opened my first two packs of Triumphant:

Gengar Prime
Junk Arms
Twins

Don't run rainbow (ruins your potential to donk with sableye). If you REALLY want to play techs with basic energy requirement, I'd run a Cyrus Conspiracy or 2, which works great for getting out E-gain and psychic energy if you run promocroak as a luxray counter ;)
