Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Where are the collectors at?

Nah i dont think i will have competition,Im sure by Now the ones that "would" be my competition are the ones who already have the trophies and selling them.

I can think of a few people who would be competition but those are the same people who own them.

I think the ony hard part is having the decent amount of cash for it and having a card available.

Nah, if a TMB came up for sale you would have competition, from Scott at least, I know they're pretty high on his wants list.

And I'm pretty sure he isn't the only one.

Well i sure hope i dont have competition im basically getting rid of most of my collection just to afford it,
Besides he already has alot of trophy cards as it is,i need it more than he does.

crazy - one piece of advice for you. Why do you think people like Scott, or Will whilst he was collecting, or Mozz, or Waynegg, Sandman, etc. etc. (pretty much anyone who is into collecting or selling at this level) get the cards they want?

They look hard for their cards, do lots of research but perhaps most importantly, they build up relationships with other collectors. Asking for info is fine but sometimes I just get the feeling that you're expecting someone to give you all the answers.

Maybe it's time to start building those relationships and making them work for you?

How do you expect that to happen, those are the people who have issues with me.
They are not gonna help me,In fact waynegg started trashing my youtube videos the other day and i havent really talked to him in months and he still has a chip on his shoulder.

Wrong!

I posted warnings because you were trying to rip off kids who didn't know any better. You were entertaining one kid who was trying to trade for your SSB Mewtwo. He offered his whole collection for it and posted a video of what all he had. Just a portion of that collection was worth well over (about 5x over) the value of your SSB card and you told him he would have to offer even more!

Then there was your STS decoration card, that you KNOW is a decoration and which you were trying to hype it up as some super exclusive factory mess up in an attempt to rake in $1000+ for it. You even lied about how much you paid for it. Then you even removed the warnings to those who you may be duping so you could continue to try and take advantage of their ignorance.

That's real sorry of you and is exactly what Dogma is getting at- You're known to be, and have even bragged about being, a rip off artist.

SOMEBODY needed to step in and let those who are misinformed know the truth before you hung them out to dry. Try being fair and equitable. Start telling the truth. Stop trying to take advantage of people. Try to fit in for a change. Then, you will likely find other collectors to be much more helpful towards you.

Oh- and stop telling half truths like, "waynegg started trashing my youtube videos the other day and i havent really talked to him in months and he still has a chip on his shoulder", to try and smear someone's GOOD name. Tell the whole story. Or better yet in a situation where you are so obviously wrong, just don't say anything at all and make amends for the wrong you've done.

That's my one and only comment on that particular situation. Argue if you like, but you will be arguing only with yourself.

First of all the videos i have up now are not the items im selling nor trading, when i do sell or trade it will say so in the title of the video.

2nd the kid did not have anything i was intrested in,i had no intrest in his collection i even told him a million times im not thinking of selling/trading it unless it was something mind blowing. My idea of mind blowing is maybe a trophy card just like it or better.
All of his cards are a dime a dozen meaning i can always get them on ebay at anytime if i wanted them.

His cards were not rare nor valuble.I had no intrest in them.
All he had was the same old holo cards you can pull from booster packs incase you dont remember i live by the motto of the sheets, why have the cards from booster packs when i can have the sheets.

The STS card i listed everything except that it was a "qualifier card" i forgot to list that but i did remember to say it was from STS.

Also even if i did mess up on the video description its not the end of the world because im not even trading nor selling it.

Also he was the one who mentioned $1,000 i replied saying "I dont know that for sure it all depends on what someone is willing to pay for"

Incase you forgot that what everyone says here on gym a card can be worth $1 or $10,000 its worth whatever someone is willing to pay.
I also said the auction went a little over $100 which is true and can be found in my old thread that is now locked.

Also it does not matter how much i paid for it because it is no ones business but my own, besides im not even selling it nor trading it.

I told him that the auction went over $100 which is the truth the auction did do that. You can see that in my old thread.

If i was gonna sell it for $1000 i dont see how its any of your concern because in america is buy low sell high.
What am i supposed to sell for a loss is that what you think.

Right now my stuff is collectible videos, when i do trade/sell it will be listed as that.

if you look at the "2nd link" in my signature it shows what cards he was offering me for the SSB no.2 trophy.

The cards are good but its not worth trading the trophy for those cards.

I dont see how that is needed to be said on the youtube video,
I dont need to get into all those details.
Besides the seller and i came on terms of those agreements.

Again its no ones business how that transaction worked and its 2 years ago its ancient history by now.

Also i dident weezle out of it,all i had was $70 and the auction shot up higher than i expected it to go,seller said no problem and sold it to me for what i had.

Good tip for eBay, if you only have $70, don't bid more than $70.

You're very lucky you got a nice seller, if it had been me you would have had an instant negative, reported to eBay and I'd have sold it on Second Chance Offer.

First and foremost, a big shout out to Waynegg for trying to ensure trades are reasonable, great stuff.

Oh and Dan I forgot to add you to that list of decent collectors - as are so many in the community.

But crazy you have just shown plenty of examples of why there is something different about you. I can't believe you are shorting eBay sellers $30 and yet you want to buy trophy cards? If your heart is set on more, save up! Why do you need to do some of the things you are doing?

Do you remember me asking you whether your Masaki promos were up for sale? Six different people told me to not buy from you. Six! How on earth you've managed to have that many bad experiences I don't know.

Noone is against you personally, but we are against some of the things you do to get the cards you want...

I got a lot of Pop's, but I just listed the best.

---------- Post added 10/02/2010 at 06:32 AM ----------

I ment to say I have a lot of Pop %.Well maybe not to many but this is the others that I have:

Supporters:
x2 Bill's Mantinace

Deelta Species:
x5 Charmander
x3 Pelipper
x8 Zangoose

But you have bought and when you pull tricks like the $30 thing from eBay that we were just talking about (and there are a lot more of those, let's be honest), people were doing me a favour to warn me, no?

Put yourself in the other person's shoes!

OK, simple example. Are you willing to sell me your Masaki promos for a dirt-cheap price? Because that's what you ask others to do!
