Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Where are the collectors at?

I'm pretty interested in the large amount of text at the bottom of the SSB page next to the picture of the grinning woman.
I also am interested on what that says. Information on the SSB's is fairly limited, so chances are there is something interesting in the article.

hey mike yeah the ssb cards are very limited basically the ones you see on ebay well those are the only ones. They have come from a japanese women in japan who had the entire set, and there are less than ten out there, a very rare and sought after card, and also a great time to buy since they are at a lower price than what they should be because of the economy

I have heard about six to eight of them, still unbelievably rare any way you cut it. This slumping economy is the only way I got mine. Sadly I got back to school in a couple days and that means less hours at work, less money and less rare cards.

Not anymore its not - I just bought it

The shipping was nearly the same as the price though - so annoying!!!

Gah, I was considering getting it.
Guess I'll just have to settle for spending my money on some of Mozz's treasures

I believe when I purchased that book it was between $20 and $30 so minus the shipping costs that isn't a bad deal considering that book is difficult to find. That book was the first time I saw the glorious trophy cards and I was like 'holy...' followed by a string of cussing and cursing since I knew whatever I was looking at was and still is extremely rare:thumb:

it will be relisted, i bought mine back when mozz had those pika trainers up and they put one right up after mine and had another listed as well so you should be able to get one dj.

and yes mike i think there are between 6-8 sets of ssb trophy cards, your no 3 is an excellent card that is worth a lot of praise and respect.

I hope one gets relisted, it seems like a really neat reference book. Oh Scott, thanks for the compliment  I certainly put a lot of effort into getting it.

It is a really cool reference book, I wish they made another one that has updates. Though I can see why it would be difficult seeing how many more cards are out there. Though I don't think it would be too difficult to produce a nice softcover book depicting all the special cards. By special cards I mean cards not found in a booster-box or what have you and that would fall under the category of promotional and tournament based/acquired cards. Each card could have an historical synopsis on how and where one could acquire such and such card and when such and such card was available and for how long and for the tournament acquired cards how many were issued. The book could be bilingual in Japanese and English.

my double sided holo card should be in the updated version book assuming if they did make an updated book.
does anyone know if the team rocket set was in the original book and if my card appeared in that one in team rocket section.
but anyways that would be cool to see my card in a book:thumb:

An updated book would be really cool, I would definitely buy it. I don't understand why they never released a book like this in english before since there seems to be a big market for card collectors.

I never heard of any double sided holo card other than ancient mew. Exchange Please is only holographic on the back, so what card what card is it?

Yes an updated book would do wonders for collectors and sellers alike, if it was under the approval and authority of the producers of the Pokemon TCG. Now of course a book with just promotional and tournament cards would display a sort of favoritism but a sort that I think all collectors could easily agree upon to the point I would be so bold to claim it as 'Ijma' amongst Pokemon collectors. Though one thing that must be made clear the book would not turn into a price-guide it would if produced be a book of reference.

I would have to agree. A book only for the scans, history and information on the individual cards rather than a price guide that would turn into a beckett mag. where have of it is just photos of pokemon. Hey if its licensed by Pokemon inc./Media Factory, that would just be a bonus.

im talking about my miscut team rockets card the double sided holo card.here is the link http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=88576&highlight=uncut

Why would your English, mis-cut, decoration which was never ment for public release be in a book of Japanese promos?
