Ah right awesome.
I'm planning on keeping my Fossil one for a while assuming I can put it somewhere out of the sun on the wall.

sun is good for the sheetor at least no effect to it.
i looked at a card that had sun on it and a card that was locked away in a closet.some cheap holos of course i did a test a while ago to prove if sun did anything.
the sun keeps the color there.
the sun feeds or keeps the color solid.
the one in the closet became faded because of darkness.
the sun brings the color to surface.
certain light bulbs you gotta worry about but not the sun itself.
i did a test with cheap single holos so if anything bad happened it wasent a expensive card.

i meant was that the sun made the color better.
for instance if the color is faded the sun gave it more color.
in other words the sun made it look new.
so i wouldent recoment keeping cards in the dark for too long.

Huh. I'd have figured the sun would bleach the colour from the cards.

I know what you ment.
I simply said I thought it would be the other way round and the suns rays wouls be harmful to the cards.
I keep all my cards in darkness and they seem fine.

yeah the sun messes up everything with ink, so yeah dj keep that out of the sun, and the sun does make a card shine well but not if you keep it in the sun, that holo sheet would be non holo

i used cheap holos like promo holos.i never put a sheet in the sun just cheap 1 dollar holo promos.
my sheets are inside.
i make sure the sun doesent go directly on hitting the sheet but i do have enough sunlight from outside to know its not night time.
i have curtains which i keep the sun out but im not in total darkness you know.
its ok to have some sun but not directly like the card is trying to get a tan.
too much sun on anything is bad but a little wont do anything like enough sun in the room to let you know its day time and not night time.

Yeah, my only problem is, the only walls of my bedroom with space are in direct sunlight. Maybe if I get a big sheet of that perspex stuff that PSA use to protect the cards, I've heard that protects them from UV Rays.

Yeah too bad DJ that PSA doesn't grade these uncut sheets, but I'll ask PSA exactly what the material they use for encapsulation and where to find it.

Question for crazypokemon: Why do you start an additional thread almost every day about the same topic *uncut-sheets* and bombarde this one constantly about the same topic? I know you love uncut-sheets but do you really have to be all over the board about it? You have now like what 4 threads here in the RTC depicting uncut-sheets and have basically taken over this thread of my friend Scott also; I find it fine if you want to talk about uncut sheets just please from now on do so in the threads you have started (just a friendly non-authoritative request)

Thanks Will, I wouldn't really want to get it graded anyway but I'd like the know how they protect them.
The only things in my collection I would consider getting graded would be my Sample set. That would subject to change if I obtained any rarer cards such as trophys and such.

And Squirtle, NICE collection.

Stephen when did your father and you get a Pikachu-Illustrator:eek: also I was unaware you also had a No. 1 SSB trainer I was aware of a No. 3 SSB trainer and I do know about the No. 1 eggs that was quite an honor to obtain one along with you and John:thumb:

If what you say is true about the Pikachu Illustrator I am going to bombarde John with emails and phone calls on how card like that needs to be graded no ifs ands or buts about it:biggrin:

true enough?

We haven't had it for a while.

On the subject of the #1 SSB, we encountered someone willing to take our #3 and some cash to get a #1. I cashed in a little bit of one of my scholarships for the funds.

Pretty sweet, eh?

Scott, is this as nice as the one you bought on eBay? Ohhh wait, how did that work for ya?

EDIT: Yeah, the illustrator is in a toploader, idk how else to keep it yet.

Congrats on getting the Illustrator I am insanely jealous! Also pretty cool on obtaining the No.1 SSB trainer and that means we know where four out of six are unless there is eight of them according to Brian.

wow that's all I can say squirtle coming in here hydro pumping up the place with his collection. An illustrator how did you get that? And I never got one the guy was a crook, but yeah your collection eclipses mine those are very impressive cards
