Which Booster Packs to Buy?

I'm working on constructing some type of metal/dark deck. Now I'm not sure which type of packs to buy? I enjoy playing Pokemon TCGO so B/W packs are nice, as you get codes but I'm not aware of too many useful dark or metal cards in the series right now. So which packs from HGSS would have the best chance to contain the cards I need. (I'm really hoping to be able to build a deck Tyranitar Prime)
 
If you want a T-Tar deck, Unleashed packs bring Tyranitar Primes. And if you want metal, they also have Steelix Prime in the set.
 
So I should stock up on Unleashed packs? I've seen Mandibuzz being used a lot with Ttar Primes, so I should get a few B/W too. Any other packs that would contain some useful Dark or Metal cards?
 
Hire you are better buying individual cards. Packs don't hardness anything so you could drop 90$ on a box and get only a few cards you want. Find something you want to play and buy he cards online.

Well, Undaunted has Scizor Prime as well as regular Umbreon.

I think T-Tar Mandibuzz is a good combo for you to start a deck on. Focus on those two Pokemon. Your idea can also work with Absol Prime from Triumphant. Remember, when building decks it's not necessarily about picking two different types; it's about finding cards that have synergy with one another regardless of type.
 
I'm going to guess Ebay and this site are two of the better sites to use to buy them. What's the price range for a Ttar Prime?

^ The best competitive sets to buy and you should get your moneys worth.
However if you insist on building T-tar than I suggest unleashed as it has pupitar,larvitar and tyranitar prime + non-prime.
 
Buying singles saves you more money than buying packs. You'll get more common cards than you get the rares you are after.
 
singles are the best like said above. But triumphant packs really are the best to get right now. So many expensive primes.
 
Yeah, unleashed is pretty good, but Triumphant is a bit to good to pass up on. The set has so many good cards coming out if it in primes, and trainers that it's really the best place to buy. As others have said though, unleashed has T-Tar, and B&W will likely stick around longer than the other sets.
