If only Catcher didnt exist. And it could use Crystal Wall instead of Crystal Edge.

As is, maybe with Emboar? If the opponent can't OHKO you, you can:

1st, hit their active ex for 100
2nd, let them attack your WKex for whatever
3rd, catcher up one of their undamaged exes for the OHKO
4th, let them kill your damaged WKex
5th, kill that ex you damaged earlier.

Now you'd essentially have the game on lockdown if they can't OHKO your WRex.

You could even run Reshiram/Moltres to beat the heck out of annoying Klingklang/Safeguard dudes.

That's some good advice and some great ideas. I am pretty much on the same page with you. I think with the right deck list it could see some success. Also surprise some people because it is unexpected. I think crystal edge could be better than crystal wall in this situation . You can skyla it out , and with some nrg accel you can hit for 150 early game. Then maybe add in virbank gym, laser, if there is room and you're cookin with fire. Hahahahaha. Since garchomp/altaria is basically not played any more, you will win the dragon war against anyone you come up against. You just gotta be smart about using the regular compared.to the ex (white kyurem) so you aren't getting the short end of the prize trade.
 
I don think you really have to worry about the prize trade aside from opposing bouffalant, and the regular reshiram kills that. Not much can ohko you; I think only rayquaza, rayquaza ex, keldeo ex and any kyruem ex can do it. WKex can ohko all of those dragons right back, and Mewtwo takes care of keldeo.

Also worth noting is that crystal edge allows your undamaged kyruem to do 150, which i believe is enough to ohko any support stage 2 that isn't named klingklang. Also allows your undamaged kyruem to ohko a black kyruem ex that has a crystal wall attached (if people use that).
 
Probably wont want to just slap it down as soon as you get it. Only if it will net you a key ko that turn. I get the feeling that in many situations the extra 50 either wouldn't be enough or would be overkill.

Playing it that way almost negates tool scrapper's usefulness.

Hmm good starting point!

Probably emboar bcr instead. Still ohko on anything fire weak in klingklang, but only discards one energy instead of discarding all fire.

Of course, ill probably strip the deck of any tech for the start of my testing. Lol
 
The good thing about emboar bw is it can ohko any ex with HTL and virbank gym so it may be a good attack option
