I'm not happy with consigning the cards to the hold
I've been told that several companies advise against placing laptops or other valuables like cameras in the hold as they have a habit of dissapearing. For some time now locking your luggage is not something that you do as when customs break in they just leave you a polite note about how it is for your benefit. We left the locks open anyway and they still levered the case open Hold bagage isn't anywhere near as secure as we might wish... out of sight out of mind
