Hmmm... Does anyone know the list of people who had BYES and their placing? Did the BYEs help out or hurt anyone? I am just curious how they affected the tournament so I could prepare for my nationals a bit better lol.

There's no way the byes can hurt you. They give you free wins and perfect resistance. For the most part, almost every player with a regional bye made the cut, but I'm not sure about states.

I think that maybe five of the people with byes whiffed cut just because they had really bad days. The byes overall are a good thing as long as you can back it up with consistent play in swiss. Don't be afraid to use yours Zach :smile:

I only meant like how helpful they were lol. The only thing that might be hurtful is battling harder players all the way up but, I guess it is bound to happen. I figure I will have 7 or 8 rounds of my Swiss with a top 16 or 32 which means 3-4 wins gets me in. Thanks for :thumb:
