Who's Beaten the Elite Four? (D/P, possible spoilers)

All you really need is a well balanced team lv.45-50 and 30 revives and 30 hyper potions FTW!

Yeah, that's what I discovered.
In my japanese diamond, all my Pokemon were between 55 and 60, and I won without using more than 5 items throughout the entire e4.
In my english pearl, all my Pokemon were around 50, and I still won, I just had to use more items.

Did you try teaching Empoleon an Ice attack? I used 2 Dragon Pulses with Lucario to take her down the first time and Vespiquen the second.

actualy, it is available on the route to snow point. just need rock climb.

and about 18 hours. every trainer beat w/empoleon=high lvl.

Unfortunately I was a moron and spent all my money buying Thunderbolt and Flamethrower for Luxray and Rapidash (20,000 coins eats up your cash fast, where's this game's Amulet Coin?!), so I can't get Ice Beam - I would if I could, but I can't. I'll just keep trying and hopefully hax her out of a win one time, or else raise an Abomasnow to OHKO it.

I beat the Elite Four on Saturday. Took me 5 days.

Luxray can't get Ice Fang unless you breed it on. I was right in front of the E4, I wasn't going to take the time to breed an entirely new Luxray and level it up ~50 times to make it battle-ready AGAIN. =(

Anyway, I just beat the Champion. It was incredibly intense. I brought in Luxray after a Giga Impact from Garchomp, Intimidated it, used Crunch and lowered its defense, then it used something that wasn't EQ, so I Crunched again and it lowered Defense AGAIN, so I was like YESSS. After that I think I 2HKOd with Golem. In the end it was my Empoleon versus her Milotic, and the Milotic knew Aqua Ring, so it took FOREVER to kill it. I kept using Waterfall over and over so Mirror Coat would keep failing, plus there's the flinch factor. So after like 20 minutes and 6-7 Hyper Potions later, and after she's used Full Restore twice, I finally kill it and become the champ. With ZERO Revives left! =O

Having been outleveled the entire game, this was nothing new to me...

Hippowdon - Level 45
Alakazam - Level 43
Torterra - Level 44

Got my *** handed to me the first time (wasn't using a guide, made it to the fourth person just to see what types everyone used), Went through the second time itemless to see how my team would do, made it just before the end of the fourth trainer. Then, on my third try I did it, using 2 full heals, 11 hyper potions, and 5 revives.
Serious buisness.
