Why do so many people hate to play against a sp deck or hate it in general??

I haven't paid enough attention to outside metagames, but so far I've seen very little of Palkia and anything I've seen running Palkia hasn't been very consistent.

A couple of the better players in my area play Palkia Power Lock.
It's sooooo annoying. Lost Cyclone just makes it even worse.

If they send up a Machamp, you send up a Toxicroak, if they send up Gengar, you use Weavile . . .

But that's just theory . . . you can't always assume you will have the right Stage 2 ready to go whenever you need it, especially in a deck which splits its resources like Gengar/Machamp. It is MUCH easier to get a Basic SP Pokemon out . . . attach, Energy Gain, Galactic Switch . . .

And then they send out Machamp and OHKO Weavile... The deck is fast, and you have to severely play around it while they just set up, but you have to jam with Unown G and manually attach.

SP decks have a lot of tricks which are just plain annoying to face:

Power Spray - oops now your Uxie/Azelf/Togekiss (lol) is a useless bench hog.

Poke Turn - think you will KO my Dialga next turn? Think again. Think your safe from a KO? Crobat G, Poke Turn, Crobat G, GG.

They are also expensive to collect and hard to build properly and play, so you can't just netdeck them and expect to win like you could with Gallade/Gardevoir.

Anyways, most of this grief will dissipate soon enough. Once the next set comes out, it won't be SP vs. Everything. It'll be SP vs. SP.

some matchups will ,i mean people will still play gengar ,dusky,champ,rampardos and etc so theres still alot of reguler poke decks still out being played so

Stop complaining so much. Dialga or Palkia/Dialga isn't even the BDIF.
