Why Not Starmie?

I Truely do not see why no one uses starmie. easy snipe for one energy, easy pop back to hand and damage, why not?

it actually is quite a good card for being a starmie, but it just can't see competitive play because of palkia/machamp/other metagame decks.

Starmie is a good card, but it has major drawbacks.

1] It's not efficient at all
2] Low Hp lets it get eaten alive by hard hitting or mediocrely hard hitting decks.

I think it's not played as much because manetric does such a good job at hitting pokeon with powers, while also protecting the bench. It kind of took starmie's only chance of being in power hitting decks.

Also, Shuppet PL does the same amount of damage, for one energy. The fact that it is a basic, makes it the better "boomerang" choice.

But, both are horribly weak though.
