Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Why that Username?

Here's a funny story about mine. I used to be known as Blastoise-shellshocker, and when I made that name, I liked two things; Blastoise and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I got the word Shellshock from both Ninja Turtles arcade games, but since I've decided to make a Pokegym Username, I went with Blastoise being the Pokemon I liked, and Shellshocker to end it with. Coincidently, Shellshocker is the name of a Blastoise used in Pokemon: The First Movie, but that's not where I got it from. In both Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles arcade games, whenever you lose your last life, your turtle goes "OH, SHELLSHOCKED!!!", which sounded cool.

I had my name changed earlier this year because I want to have my Pokegym Screenname the same as my current AIM Screenname, and I also use this name on other sites.

In 1998 or 99 when I started playing Pokemon, i really liked rock pokemon. I don't know why i chose to cut out the 'c' in 'rock' I guess a way to differentiate myself from megaman, which IS equally as cool as me! I started going by Rokzilla in other games because people bug me asking if I like megaman, which i do but it's annoying. w/e though

Family joke.

"Stare into my eyes and you will forget the little green boxes."
"What little green boxes?"
"See, you forgot them already."

We caught on pretty quickly though and started responding:
"You mean the ones in the living room?"

Pat460 because when I made my first email account, pat@whaterver website it was was taken, so it randomly suggested pat460, and it stuck.

Years ago, over 15 minutes was used entering usernames which were already taken into another website. After getting fustrated, I put in a random username which no one would have used and nnaann stuck.

Can't remember stuff that's not that important to me. That's why I chose afstandopleren because it's something I really stand for. It means distance upon learning.

Alright, lemmie put my retainer in for this one cause it gets NERDY.

Back in my high school days, freshmen year I believe, when Eminem's first major cd came out, I loved it. I listened to it all the time and would impress my friends by rapping his songs to them during football practice. Eventually my nickname became "Shady" which in time they deemed necessary to shorten to "Shad" I have no idea why.

Fast forward a few years later, some friends and I started playing the MMO; Star Wars Galaxies. I wanted a cool sounding "Star Wars" name whilst keeping to my "Shad" moniker. So, I decided to make up the name Shadran. Sounded sci-fi-ish to me at the time. Eventually me and my buddies joined a guild and on our teamspeak the guys would refer to me as Shad-man. Since then I have just used the handle Shadman for just about everything.

Now, in regards to the V2. Whenever I try to make a Shadman user name and it's taken, I slap a V2 behind it (for Version 2). So yeah, when I signed up here it said Shadman was taken...which I doubted but whatever, so ShadmanV2

:D

Pinsir is teh favorite pokeymans, and 52 was my high school football number, and i wrestled in 152 lb weight class. Though, on a bunch of other forum websites like pokegym, im just "The Pinsir."

At the time of my joining pokegym, my deck was an electivire/raichu deck, so I was into electric types, so Thunder seemed like an obvious choice. Yeah.

well every name that didn't numbers related to any of my favorite pokemon was pretty much taken and at the time of my joining i was making a dark deck * it would not have been legal just for school fun* so dark _pokemon sounded coool
