For the Sleep thing, can you just spam sleep-inducing moves to put all of the opponent's Pokemon to sleep then? If so, I now forsee everyone spamming Dark Void with Darkrai...

You should also specify who would win in the event Explosion is used with the last Pokemon .

And finally, item clause or no?

But sign me up anyway I need to test my team out anyway And just for the records, Not All Legendary Pokemon Are Ubers, Legendary Is Just A Title Slapped On Them. All Of The Based Stat 600's And 580's Are Just As Uber As Any legendary, just look at it that way.

These rules are for Single Battles. I am working on Double Battle rules.

-Any Pokemon specific item

Sleep Clause

Only one Pokemon can have a OHKO attack per team

Banned/restrected attacks

Double Team/any other evasion mod attacks can be used 3 times per Pokemon
Sheer Cold/ any other OHKO attack is one per team

Auto-lose attacks ( rules for last pokemon )

Last Pokemon can't ( Explosion, Self-Destruct,etc.)
Last Pokemon can't Perish Song or Destiny Bond....

Instead of Baning Soul Dew, Ban all Pokemon specific Items.
Latias and Latios are only uber with Soul Dew
No ubers allowed
Item Clause
Sleep Clause
Not all Legendaries are ubers
Evasion and Sleep are both broken
Last Pokemon can't explode or use Perish Song or Destiny Bond

Thanks Vaporean, these rules sound better. I was about to drop out since the rules weren't exactly "rules"
 
i dont agree with all of vaps rules but they are completely fair. The doubles rules are awful though XD but i think we are most likely gonna play singles anyways :-( yea no ubers, kills the fun. And please no noob gym guy saying "oh you scare of ubers!? my team can destroy a uber team!" cause then i would love to battle you and show you how a real uber team works >.>

Sorry vaporeon those rules are a little to specefic I'll modify some of my rules to meet yours, but not all of them this tourney will test the move strategy of the compatants; I will try to make it fair, but at the same time give a little leeway

I also have a question: what is the final ruling: No Ubers, 1 Uber and as many legends as you want, or 1 legend in total.
 
.....go with what vaporeon said......seriously your not giving leeway at all there is a reason a lot of those rules are set in all good tourneys. Those rules in doubles and your asking for dumb battles that take little skill. Want a real tourney, apply all those rules that vaporeon said. And i dont even like some of the specific ones but seriously the ones you got now arent rules at all
 
The reason why I did that is because they give too much of an advantage to one player in a double battle. The reason why I banned Spore is because it ia a 100% chance of sleep that a player can set up on.

@ Mwtricus, have you ever read the standard rules and clauses for WiFi battles thread? If you want this tournament to be successful I think you should give some leeway to those rules as well.

Well unless the standard for this tourny will be singles going to back out. I'm terribles at double XD
 
spore is awful in doubles, trick room is fine, UGHS these should be the rules!!

Restricting moves for doubls like follow me and trick room? WOW. restricting spore when only 3 Pokemon in total can learn it. I'll just refrain from making any comments.

I wont be joining cause this is very poorly set up, rules are all over the place, and the last tournaments here havent been completed and in one I got byes onto top 4.

Less spam better posts please =/

Agreed. Lati@s is uber as well no matter what item it has.
