1-0-1 Omastar in GG is a horrible idea beacause you have to be able to get the fossil out consistently, which can be very hard. Dugtrio is helpful but in all honesty, doenst help as much as you would think it would.

okay on the omastar but the dugtrio? no atacking the bench so your stuck with surf together and if i stay close to your prize count all game so you cant scramble for long. youll need 3 energy to attack so how iz zat a bad idea

In my opinion decks that people haven't seen have the best chance at winning because people don't know exactly how to play against them like Nidoqueen, and Magma. Everyone knows how to play against GG so I think it has no shot.

Because most Empoleons use Cessation Crystal. Even if you windstorm it, they'll have one or two turns to do 30-30, then they can Surf whatever you send up.

1. Unless a desperate 100 absolutely must be done, only an idiot would put down a full bench against PLOX, as every single person who spends under 15 minutes making their PLOX deck automatically goes to a Dusknoir tech, so Dusknoir is EXPECTED! Even if I had to fill my bench against you, I doubt I'd candy out all my Empoleons.
2. You attacked Empoleon # 1 three times with P-Lock, then ko'ed Empoleon # 2 with one P-Lock one turn later. How'd that other Empoleon die? Did you Sonic Blade earlier?
3. You're apparently assuming that I have not spread any damage at all earlier in the game. That's not likely.
4. You're assuming that the other three slots on my bench are . . . what? A starter and two Claydols? At the same time, you're assuming (of course) that you have three Gardes (one of which is an X), a Gallade AND a Dugtrio out, and are still able to get the Duskull+Candy+Dusknoir the instant you need them. There is no possible way ANY of those 10 cards were prized, right?
5,. Your deck did not draw an opening starter (because if it did, it would probably still be alive unless I absolutely HAD to kill it)

There's more blatant inaccuracies to be found, but I have to get going

If he used Psychic Cut more than once earlier, he's now fighting an uphill battle in that his options are limited. He must either:

A. Do 50 or 60 while I do 30-30 or 80 to 100, or
B. Sonic Blade everything, thus letting me use Claydol.

These discussions are indeed useless, hence my scolding tone.

All I have to say about G&G is that, yes it's good, but, it's been out so long, its weaknesses are known. There will be Rogue at Nationals, and it will win!

yea i'd probably agree with you on this one... that a rogue will win nats.
but then again, i wouldn't be surprised it G&G won nats either.

the thing is, its hard to find G&G's weaknesses, because not only is it one of (if not THE)most consistant decks in the game, but it has virtually every strategy in the game known to man:

Status Conditions: Ralt's confuse ray
Sniping: Kirlia and Gardy LV X's bring down
OHKOing: Psychic Cut
Board Control: Sonic Blace
Power Locking: Psychic Lock
Consistancy: Telepass



LBS was easier to counter because it completely relied on Pokemon Powers to do big damage.
G&G on the other hand doesn't (Psychic Cut).

but yeah... i'm not sure if a rogue will win nats or not.
either way i wouldn't be surprised.. but i sure hope that a rogue does win

to your number 2 the first empleon got phychic loxed the other empoleon goes away with dark palm to your number 3 i was asuming i got a dugtrio up early then you played cess crystal
to your number 4 all i said were that i dark palmed a empoleon sorry for assuming a empoleon deck would have another empoleon on the bench. What i had on the bench was just an example of what could be there.
to your number 5 ralts is my starter cause i use call energy over patchey cause i know that it would clog up the bench.
