WOODBRIDGE, Va EX Emerald Prerelease 4/30/05 (Notice of Venue Change)

As much as I like Stafford's location in proximity to all the lunch selections, the people at the league responded to the idea of the "stafford tourney" being held in Woodbridge, which is closer to us, instead. Like the odds of more of them going would increase if the prerelease was held in Woodbridge instead of Stafford. (Could I drop that hint any clearer? :biggrin: ).

I'm really nudging the prerelease at them since most of the players are back from a hiatus and are in serious lackage of new cards (so this would be good for them). Today, I found myself giving away a lot of commons/uncommons from my own collection to fix up their decks and fill in some of their collections *feels good for doing a good thing*.

Don't know if I'm willing to drive to Woodbridge for a Prerelease. It's farther away than Stafford is (it's like, 1.5 hours, and Stafford is just 1) according to Mapquest. Less of a chance I show up if it's at Woodbridge. =/

OK folks, just got confirmation that it can be at Game Parlor. I`ll make all the necessary changes and everything and also inform PUI to change the location accordingly. It`ll be same time as usual - 10am- just at Game Parlor.

Jonathan: Plan on playing but if attendance gets crazy and I need the extra help, I`ll grab you and anyone else I need. Cool?

Wooper, remember, the "timeframe" on mapquest and others is "general". It always takes me less time to get wherever I`m going than what they say on the map routes. I hope you can make it as we`ll all have a blast and we`d miss you if you don`t make it. We`d love to see you and the other guys. :)

I will update the prizelist this coming weekend. I`m searching for some new stuff so give me til then to get it and post it. Trust me, it`ll be worth the wait!

Ehhh. Oh well. I'm going to try and make this, but don't expect the four of us to show. We'll prolly hit Maryland instead. Does this mean that Comic World won't be doing any more Premier Events?

yes, I know. The past 2 weeks have really been uneventful. If I wasn't so tired, i'd be excited about the tourney. Hope I don't get pulverized like I normally do :nonono: :tongue: :thumb:
 
=/ we might not go actuly, but i think we are. David and Jon have a MATH thing that day that they don't have to go to but there no sure which one to go to. The annoying thig is that if they go to the math thing, my mom won't take me to the prerelease by myself. But I think we're coming.
