world chamionship decks for playtesting?

Is it worth it to buy a world championship deck to use as a opponent to playtest your own decks?

The world championship decks are outdated, and most of the decks you would be buying are not in format/are not used anymore. So probably not. :/

You could. The parameter you should use, though, is "if my deck loses to the WC deck, my deck needs some major work."

Not necessarily, because depending on the year, and the deck you are using, there are certain cards, now not in the format, that could be better against decks of this format. So it really depends on the world championship deck and the deck you are testing against it.

The only reason you should ever use them for playtesting (the year it wins) is if there is no rotation. Even then, it usually isn't worth it.

The point of playtesting is to see how well your deck holds up against other decks in the same format, so no. It would not be worth it.
