world championship decks 2011 release?

These things are releasing on Monday, and we don't even have product images or what decks they are. Anyone think this is quite fishy?
 
I don't remember getting proper product images of the starter tins or the Oshawott/Tepig boxes until they were released, so we might not get them right now.

Boxes were over a month prior (and images were available, I just didn't get to posting them).

Tins were just under two months.
 
I do find it fishy immewnity but what are you getting at do you think it is hinting at something. If youre hinting at what I think you are you know how much we'd all like it to happen but I wouldn't hold your breath, or at least I'm not.

I'm thinking that they're going to be delayed. I don't see them putting in Tropical Beach.

I have to agree with you, considering as I post this it's the 31st and no sign of them yet. Also have to agree with you about the beach. Although I hope they do make it available to the general public at some point, I have to think it wont be in something like the WC Decks unless it was a marketing ploy to sell more of em. Probably not gonna happen either way though.
 
^ Since when do you think pokemon international cares to release info on ANYTHING. Those guys should all play highstakes poker the way they comunicate(at least w/ us-the rest of the world outside Japan)

The sell sheet TPCi sent out to distributors said "In Stores October 2011!". If the PR team is sending out speculation as fact, something isn't right.

1) Sell sheets are not publically announced information.
2) Any hypothetical follow ups adjusting dates given on previous sell sheets would also not be publically announced info.
3) The folks who should be seeing sell sheets shouldn’t be talking about them at all. This kind of confusion is a pretty textbook reason why those rules are in place.
4) No, I will not comment on the street date for the product as it is not POP's place to do so. (Sorry)

I know that you guys like a good scoop as much as anyone, but c'mon. You don’t really get to hold up illegitimately obtained info and then get all indignant when that information is not as accurate as you would like. :wink:
