Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed that the Worlds 09 Tropical Wind Staff Card has the same number as last years card - DP25? I think it should be the same as the Worlds 09 non-staff card, which is DP48. They have the same art on both the 09 cards, with Shaymin making an appearance, so I think that the card is an error. Can anyone confirm that all of the cards have this problem?

If this is in the wrong place, please feel free to move it

All of the cards that my family received are marked DP48. Can you post a scan of the misprint?

This is affecting more than just the Staff 09 cards - I've just come back from league, and Nick (who was 3rd Senior) has got Top 32 saying DP48, Top 16 saying DP25, Top 8 saying DP25, and the Quarter and Semi Finalist cards are DP48.

Ian F (NoPoke) also has the same error as on mine - Staff 09 cards with DP25 on them.

We reckon that a roll of cards was printed out with DP25, then the error was noticed and a roll (or more) with DP48 on them was printed.

Eeveelover is going to post a copy of the scan on the 'gym.

Ah. Now I see.
Going to post this info in the description so that someone seeing this in the gallery will understand.

Both Nicholas's TOP16 cards are also DP25: this is going to drive the collectors nuts! Its going to take a while before we know the relative rarity of the DP25 '09 cards.

Scary if the Finalist and semi-finalist cards come in both DP048 and DP025

Yeah, a count is exactly what we need!

Everyone, please report on what versions of these cards you got, and with what stamps.
Thanks

From my 9 card sheet: English one is 25. All the other languages are 48.
We have 4 Staff that are 25 and 1 Staff that is 48.

All 6 of my 9 card sheet are DP48 - and strangely all 4 of my staff cards are DP25. Interesting to see how many there will be of each - including the Semi and Final cards.

Ok..

All 4 of my Staff cards are DP48
All 6 of my "normal" ones (the Japanese one isn't numbered) in the first set I have are DP48
All 5 non-English in the second set I have are DP48, the English one is DP25

My English one is DP25 while the European ones is DP48. lol.
[I'm a collector so I got mine from a fellow league member who played at worlds]

Moving to News & Gossip for a wider audience.
I want to get a clear idea of the percentage of cards that are error vs non-error.

We noticed this once LJ W, SRs, checked his T16 cards and noticed one was DP48 and one was DP25.

I would love to see a scan of this.

Ugh, this is disappointing. I wasn't able to secure a staff card with the error and only 1 of my 10, yes 10, sets had the error. If I had known about the error sooner, I might have looked to see if the person who was trying to sell me thier T32 and T16 cards for relatively cheap had the error. :frown:

Can you get scans of the Top Cut cards? It seems that the Staff Card error is more frequent that the one in the set, which is interesting.

finally got around to checking mine: four staff cards, 3 #48 and 1 #25. 9 card page: all are #48.
