If it really is in Hawaii, I don't know what to do. I live in Norway, and my parents have promised me a three weeks' holiday to the U.S., where we'll try to see as much of the country as possible before we finishes with Worlds. Sadly, they had a little disclaimer about Worlds; if it was in Hawaii, they couldn't promise anything as it adds a considerable amount of money to the already ridicoulously expensive trip.

That really sucks. I would be happy, because we go on family vacations there every other summer, so we could probably turn worlds into a family thing

After attending Worlds in Orlando, and then Nats in St. Louis, I have to say the Nats experience had much more potential. Nats had a few snags, but it was much more openly oriented. Which is how it should be. Worlds is for the best of the best, and POP should focus on creating an amazing experience for those who are playing.
I would rather POP put more effort into solving the 2 or 3 issues that we had with Nats as a standalone event, than to change the way Worlds is focused. So, Hawaii is a great location for Worlds, In my opinion. How amazing would it be to win a trip to Hawaii?

Really... what the heck does POP have against the East Coast? First they move nats so its a 55+ hour drive for everyone, and now the West Coast gets worlds AGAIN? :/
Great... Now I not only have to work my butt off just for a chance at an invite, now I have to figure out a way to afford a trip to Hawaii on top of being able to pay for college...
This game is really starting to suck.

I really wish it wasn't in Hawaii. Same as everyone else, well the ones who don't that is and the reason is exspense. I liked Legotacks idea of the East Coast when he first posted his thread. I wish it could have been somewhere new other than Hawaii! Oh well.
you wouldn't be the only one man. however, anyone complaining about not being able to go to hawaii to PLAY POKEMON CARDS needs a serious priority check. it wouldn't be the end of the world.
This is bad or Europeans, Hawaii is just too far away, first they put worlds in the west coast of America and then next year on Hawaii? That's not fair. Europeans should also have right to play at worlds, whitout paying 3 times the money othes pay for being there. At least sometimes. Actually European Championships could be an nice idea. There is much countries so one big tournament held in Europe (Even if the prizes were low, if it's Called European Championships there will be players). € for ever!!!

My wife had a Regional Science Conference there and it was an AWESOME location for a NATS or a WORLDS. TONS (dude.. i mean TONS! of food, shopping, night entertainment, family entertainment - it's the HARBOR for goodness sake!)
B'more is on the east coast. Major airport access. Europeons can catch direct flights to it.
Somebody cosign for me on this one.

DO NOT complain. You can Suggest. . . But NEVER complain about a company that spends it's own revenue to bring you events for free. That's not wise. Feel me?

I've been pushing for nats/worlds to be held in Baltimore for ever. :tongue:
Actually... I would rather pay for events than have to put up with this junk they've been giving us. How much more regional biased are they going to make this game?
Oh, BTW. ANYONE who says that FL counts as worlds being on the East Coast needs to check up on the driving times. I'm in MD, which is about half way up the coast. It's a stupid 20+ hour drive for me to get to FL.
PLEASE I beg you guys... Give the North East a chance? Once? With a cherry on top? *sighs*
