You've been giving your all and giving back to this game for a long time and in more ways than many persons realize from the little I've seen. Anyways,I believe I met you for the first time in 2006 in Aneheim,CA and you were willing to sign cards for no telling how many people after your Worlds win that year;even some that you did not know, including myself at the time. That's a show in itself of the kind of player you are. I'm certainly not going to brag, but I'm a decent player and really and truly my favorite part of Pokemon is teaching other people how to play and then how to improve their play, especially the younger ones and the rewarding part is the look on their face when they finally get it when you tell them why they should make a certain play or use a certain card or the thank you's after they win their first tournament,it's inspiring;it's much more rewarding then the $4K or so I've won playing this game and it would seem that you've found the same to be true. I had to evacuate for Hurricane Gustav from south MS and I went and stayed in Jackson,MS with the Schell family who contributes many of the photos seen here on the gym and who run the ms.pokemon site that posts more pictures that anyone I've seen on here. While,I was there I got to visit two leagues and meet the make a wish kid, trade with, and even play a game with him,he was still wearing the hat you signed and gave to him over a year ago and he spoke well of you. The Schell's run numerous leagues in the Jackson,MS area and if you took a day to stay there I'm sure you would find numerous kids waiting to meet and play against you at any one of them,if you had a week to stay there I'm sure you would be playing in at least 3 or 4 different locations in that time and meeting dozens of players wanting to learn more. I'd be willing to take the drive and come help and even play a game or two against you for them to watch and to show them how you do it move by move in a real scenario;if you made the decision in advance the make a wish kid and Schell family would promote your visit before you came to ensure a healthy turnout. That's all besides the point.
The point is you've proven your the most consistent player in the world and you represent what you have accomplished with the utmost of class. In my opinion your the best player in the world;not because you have won two World's titles as many would argue, but rather because you have won two World's titles and you continue to lead the way in Masters and set a fine example for the up and coming players of tomorrow. You have my respect Jason and congratulations on another fine performance.
