Worlds invites based on which category?

No matter how they decide to do it, they'll be a group that complains. Personally I would prefer Modified-constructed.

Well...The top 16 in world..At one time could only be USA..Or a diffrent Country...And Top 16 isn tto much..Worlds is to see who is the best...And..You want the to Competetors from every country that plays the game....

I accually think that world shouldn't be invite only. Or if it is at least not base it on rankings. Rankings don't mean too much. There are people who rank higher than me and yet I soundly beat most of the time I play them. They just play in more tournaments than I do because I judge so much.

Haha, I like Irwinmalek's idea. However, I'll borrow something from US representation in congress.

I suggest that POP offer 2 flat-out invites to each nation in each age group, recognized as a Pokemon playing one, may they count through nats, that nation's rankings, etc, etc. Then go through with the system we already have, issuing an appropriate number of invites to the larger poke-countries. This idea could offer maybe just a little more represenation outside of the US.

It would be nice if more players outside USA could qualify for Worlds. But invitations alone mean nothing if there is this little amount of trips. Many people just don´t have the money to come over.
