Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

your ideal NATS team

Grr....If there's one thing I won't stand, it's someone who cheats in a competition and gets away with it! I can tolerate cheating in casual friendly games where nothing's at stake, but when a chance to be the best comes around, and someone chaets!...I swear, If i find cheaters at my qualifier, there's gonna be heck to pay!

the thing is that you can't prove that they cheated. If you suspect somehting you can ask the judges and they can put it through whatever type of machines they have.

Alot of the cheaters though are doing it to just skip the whole trainning process. They are not putting their stats at 1,000 or something.

True, but it still doesn't make it right for them to do that. They're still cheating, even if they don't raise their stats to enormously high levels. But they are getting an unfair advantage by I guess "creating" their own "perfect" pokemon (max iv's) with gameshark or whatever and then programming the evs to be perfect.

I don't get why some of these people can't get through their heads that one of the biggest parts of Pokemon IS the training. I mean, hey, you aren't called a Pokemon Trainer for nothin'.

Ugh, look. YOU may think it's cheating and it's wrong to do so, but THEY might not think it's wrong. You see, people have different opinions. Sometimes, NO ONE is right. I think you guys have said enough WAH WAH WAH THEY CHEATED BAD BAD BAD so now please stop. It's just getting down right annoying and everybody on Pokegym pretty much agrees with you so nothing more needs to be said. Now this thread should get back on topic of what TEAMS for the JAA.

Alright, but let me just say, that even if THEY don't think it's wrong (which I'm sure they do realize but they just don't care) it still is, because clearly in the JAA rules it states that NO cheating devices are allowed for use. So I guess you're right, enough said here.

Anyway, yes, back to the teams! :thumb:

Yeah, anyways Explosion/Protect is a REALLY sweet combo. Also the SunnyDay/Rain Dance Swift Swim Cloryphil (ACK can't spell) combo is awesome. My favorite for Swift Swim:
Kyogre
Ludicolo

yeah. Though, don't put Kyogre in the front 2 slots. Then there is a chance that if they have Groudn up also the Groudon will over rule the Kyogre. So you can switch in Kyogre. Also for Cloryphil:
Groudon
Shiftry

I LOVE Shiftry cause he can learn Explosion. Again, wouldn't put Groudon up first.

Since its 2 on 2 i would do

Alakazam Hold Item: Twisted Spoon
Psychic
Protect
Thunder Punch
Fire Punch

Blaziken Hold Item: Soft Sand
Earthquake
Sky Uppercut
Blaze Kick
Mirror Move

(will do the other 4 pokemon later)

Don't forget Ludicolo also can have rain dish, but I guess it all is based on what you're looking for:speed or HP recovery.

P.S. and in case you use the word again, it's clorophyll

No Rain Dish. It's overrated. Besides, it's DOUBLE speed. Ludicolo doesn't need Rain Dish. Here:
Ludicolo @; Lum Berry
EVs: 148 HP, 108 spd, 252 SA
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Giga Drain
- Fake Out/Surf

Swift Swim is a given.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Oh and also before I forget. Another combo is Rain Dance (or just mostly Kyogre since it's infinite rain) and then have a Pokemon holding Shell Bell with SURF. Surf splits damage in 2-2 but with Rain it still does lots plus you hit both Pokemon so Shell Bell heals more.

Oooh.. great idea! I never thought about that. I may wanna give it a try while I practice and see how it all goes. :thumb:

Yeah. And now think, Ludicolo has Hydro Pump. It's raining plus you get STAB (not too much of a difference but still). Ludicolo is WAY faster. Yeah. That kind of hurts them doesn't it? Plus in 2-2 your team can beat up on one Pokemon so if your faster, YOU KILL.

My planned team as of this point(4/7)
Swampert
earthquake
surf
brick break
rock slide

Ludicolo
solar beam
sunny day
waterfall
mega kick(maybe)

Pelliper
fly
surf
ice beam
????

Lantun
rain dance
hydro pump
thunder
????
starmie
and Kingdra

I'll add to it later

Any better than before?
