Hi everyone,

My Deck:

Pokemon [19]:

4 Blitzle [NV 35]
4 Zebstrika [ND 48]
3 Tynamo [NV 38]
1 Tynamo [NV 39]
3 Eelektrik [NV 40]
2 Foongus [ND 8]
2 Amoonguss [ND 9]

Trainers/Supporters [27]:

4 Pokemon Collector [HGSS 97]
4 Professor Juniper [BW 101]
3 Professor Oak's New Theory [HGSS 101]
2 Seeker [TR 88]

4 Junk Arm [TR 87]
4 Level Ball [ND 89]
3 Pokemon Catcher [EP 95]
2 Switch [HGSS 102]
1 Super Rod [NV 95]

Energy [14]:

4 Rescue Energy [TR 90]

10 Electric Energy

The basic strategy of the deck is to get a T2 Zebstrika and Eelektrik and use "Disconnect" to disrupt the opponent. Amongus is in the deck to disrupt further and eventually you can start sniping them with Zebstrika's second attack, "Lightning Crash", every turn late game to clean up and take the last few prizes.

Some problems i have noticed with the deck are:
1. Only getting one basic and having nothing to get any more out T1, opening you to a first turn donk.
Possible Solution: Run More Basics (Not sure what though), Run Pokegear 3.0 or run Dual Ball.

2. Zebstrika is a great attacker, but doesn't really have the health to take hits.
Possible Solution: Defender??

3. As with any Eelektrik deck, the deck is really weak against catcher and can struggle to recover if an Eelektrik gets dragged up before Zebstrika is trainer-locking.
Possible Solution: Double Colourless Energy or more Switch (Even though i think 2 is already high).

Any help will be hightly appreciated and thanks for reading.

Catcher shouldn't ever be an issue because zebstrike is good for its disconnect attack, which stops all trainers. Now i'm not sure if you have the same moral objections that a lot of people seem to have with these big basics, but any sort of zekrom, ex or otherwise, could be huge difference makers for you. Or maybe even gigas cause, well he looks the coolest, the cheapest at the momment, and highly underrated. Or maybe the new "wall" cinccino because its got disruptive value, hits hard, all colorless so it takes advantage of all acceleration and the basic has call for family. Just a couple ideas.

Hmm I agree with the catcher thing, its just when I cant get a T2 Disconnect.

The only problem with big basics for me is that I dont have the money to put into the game, however i do have 2 zekrom and a Regigigas EX on the way so i will try the regi. A single Zekrom seems to be working quite well in the deck so far.

On a final note, I'm not really kean on the new Cincinno idea as it is another stage 1 I would have to fit in, however i do appreciate the ideas, thanks.

This deck is funny and the strategy is good, but it's too weak. I tested it days ago and it doesn't work well against big basic pokemon. Maybe you can win against Chandelure, stage2 decks, but it' s really hard to win against pokemon -ex.
Zebstrika does only 40 damage (20 if the opponent has eviolite), and Amoongus is a little lucky. It's good when they flip tail on the confusion, but if head, Zebstrika is KO.
Try to work a lot with Pokemon Catcher and Lost Remover. In this way you can put active a big retreat pokemon without energy, lost DCE/Prism on another one and lock with trainer and confusion.
I suggest you +1 foongus. In case early KO with Catcher.

Thanks for the idea, I appreciate it, but the only thing with + 1 Foongus is that i ahve seen that people would rather go after tynamo than Foongus.

Also I don't own any Lost Remover so I can't play it but hey, I play with what i have got. :p

Ah I understand. It's beacuse I didn't play with Eelektrik, so my opponent uses catcher on foongus. I think only 2 Elektrik are enough (so 3 tynamo and you have an extra space for +1 foongus), but if you think 3 are better, play it :)

Thanks for the feedback, it seems its a little more consistant this way though.

It does well against pokemon ex, you keep targeting them with its second attack and KO it, taking 2 prizes.
As for it not being able to take a hit, just retreat it, even run max potion if you want. It can take at least one hit normally if you've got it set up when it's meant to be.

Zebstrika can stop items, but NOT retreating or attacks from your opponent. Looking at that, I would play lost removers, crushing hammers, and catchers to make sure that once their Pokemon is active, it cannot do a thing. The only way they could disrupt you would be N then. But yeah, 90 HP is a huge issue. EX's would be a 5HKO, so something needs to be done.

Your deck needs more N, probably a cleffa and some finisher(MewtwoEX if you can get it, perhaps Zapdos otherwise)

If you can learn to play VERY patiently, you can mount a MASSIVE comeback vs BigEXs simply by N+Disconnect.
Lost Remover and Catcher are brilliant too.

Mewtwo can sit on the bench sucking up energy, while you disconnect away, then N them down to 1-3 cards and sweep from there.
