Hello all! I'm new to Pokegym and was wondering if anyone could help me with some constructive feedback about my ZekEel deck that I hope to do well with at Battle Roads coming up. I've play tested it a lot and really don't know where to go from here. I went to the Dark Explorers pre-release and got some nice pulls (i.e. Raikou EX full art) and decided to throw that in my deck.

Here is my current deck list as of now:
3-3 Eelektrik (Noble Victories)
2 Zekrom (Black & White)
2 Zekrom EX (Next Destinies)
1 Thundurus (Emerging Powers)
1 Tornadus (Emerging Powers)
1 Aerodactyl (Dark Explorers)
1 Raikou EX (Dark Explorers)
(14)

2 Juniper (Black & White)
2 N (Noble Victories)
2 Sage's (HGSS Undaunted)
2 PONT (HGSS)
2 Pokemon Collector (HGSS)
2 Junk Arm (HGSS Triumphant)
2 Plus Power (Black & White)
2 Skyarrow Bridge (Next Destinies)
2 Switch (Black & White)
2 Level Ball (Next Destinies)
2 Pokemon Catcher (Emerging Powers)
2 Eviolite (Noble Victories)
2 Energy Switch (Black & White)
2 Old Amber (Dark Explorers)
2 Random Receiver (Dark Explorers)
2 Super Rod (Noble Victories)
(32)

10 Lightning Energy
4 DCE
(14)

As you can see, it's the typical ZekEel deck list with some minor techs. Aerodactyl is good for the added boost and also against mirror decks. Tornadus is good against quad-terrakion or any fighting deck in general. Typical Zekrom and Zekrom EX, also. Raikou EX is for bench sniping, then easy and free retreat next turn with skyarrow bridge. There are two of every trainer for consistency, as I realized I never need more than two of any card, but only one just didn't suffice.

Please leave constructive feedback. If you have a problem, please present a solution, not just what you don't like. Like I said, I'm trying to get my deck better for Battle Roads. Thanks!

- 1 Aerodactyl
- 2 Old Amber
- 1 Zekrom EX
- 1 Super Rod
- 2 Energy Switch

+ 2 Mewtwo EX
+ 2 Junk Arm
+ 1 Pokémon Catcher
+ 1 Shaymin UL
+ 1 Juniper/N/PONT

Junk Arm has to be at 4.

Thank you for your ideas, but sadly I don't have a lot of money nor the resources to throw in more catchers, junk arms, or Mewtwo EX's. Anything else you suggest putting in?

If I pull Tornadus EX, I most certainly will put it in instead of regular Tornadus.

But how about this?

-1 Aerodactyl
-2 Old Amber

+1 Juniper
+1 N
+1 Junk Arm

Alright, so here is the new updated deck list. My friend traded me a junk arm and I took out Aerodactyl:

3-3 Eelektrik (Noble Victories)
2 Zekrom (Black & White)
2 Zekrom EX (Next Destinies)
1 Thundurus (Emerging Powers)
1 Tornadus (Emerging Powers)
1 Raikou EX (Dark Explorers)
(13)

3 Juniper (Black & White)
3 N (Noble Victories)
2 Sage's (HGSS Undaunted)
2 PONT (HGSS)
2 Pokemon Collector (HGSS)
3 Junk Arm (HGSS Triumphant)
2 Plus Power (Black & White)
2 Skyarrow Bridge (Next Destinies)
2 Switch (Black & White)
2 Level Ball (Next Destinies)
2 Pokemon Catcher (Emerging Powers)
2 Eviolite (Noble Victories)
2 Energy Switch (Black & White)
2 Random Receiver (Dark Explorers)
2 Super Rod (Noble Victories)
(33)

10 Lightning Energy
4 DCE
(14)

- 1 super rod
- 2 random receiver
- 2 energy switch

+ 1 Catcher
+ 1 Junk Arm
+ 2 poke gear
+ 1 shaymin

I prefer Random Receiver over pokegear 3.0, 'cause at least I'm guaranteed a supporter, unlike pokegear. And as I already said, I don't have any more catchers or junk arms, otherwise they would have been in the deck. Also, I'm not a fan of Shaymin. Complete catcher bait and energy switches are safer to use. Thanks, anyway, for your input!
