So a couple weeks ago i made my girlfriend a hydreigon/eel deck. it was fun to play but i figured out hydreigon just did not belong in there, instead i replaced it with Zekrom and changed around the T/s/s a little bit. just want to know what everyone on the gym thinks.

Here's the list:

17 Pokemon

3-3 Elektrik
3 tornadus
3 Thundurus
1 Cleffa
1 Shaymin
3 Zekrom

31 T/S/S

3 Collector
2 Max Potion
3 PONT
3 Cheren
3 Catcher
3 Communication
3 Junk Arm
2 Switch
3 Plus Power
3 eviolite
3 Pokegear3.0

12 Energy

4 DCE
8 Lightning

The idea of the deck is pretty simple, the preferred starter is thundurus to start pulling out energies turn one, and possibly start doing 80 turn 2. Donchamp is pretty popular where i'm at so i run 3 tornadus. I use the 1 cleffa just in case i'm having an extremely slow start and i need to stall a little bit and refresh my hand.
I'm still not sure about shaymin in there. I kind of like it to move my energy around if somethings about to be killed so i can save some dce's but i'm not sure if it's necessary. i'm thinking of switching it for unown cure to counter Vanilluxe. I don't know, what do you guys think?

33 Eelektriks seems like a bit much...

All kidding aside, keep Shaymin. It's great for surprising your opponent or even getting your eels out of active if you have no other option. May I suggest a lost remover and energy switch tech? Lost remover is the only reason I've beaten 6 Corners variants and energy switch is another option if Shaymin is already used or prized. VVV isn't very popular in my area, so I don't know about that.

maybe the magnezone version is better sometimes more fun with the magnetic draw instant maybe somthing like this?
-2 Tornadus
- 1 Thundorus
-1 shaymin
- 1 Zekron

and some other things

then

+ 4=2=3 magnezone
+ 4 Rare candy

this deck is much more fun and is very usefull too

This deck is very strong without Magnezone. It is no where near necessary to run it. I've played ZekEels in many cities and have done great with the deck (6-0, 5-1, 5-1, 5-1 in the swiss).

I greatly suggest losing Thundurus. I know you like to start with him, but Tornadus is just soooo much better. Max out Tornadus for sure and try to start with him as often as you can.

Ignatious can you please tell me how many Juniper or PONT do you run? coz I am stuggling with the count of supporters and trainers for a consistent ZekEel build

btw I think the max potion here is highly situational. so you may want to drop it

Here's an idea.

- 3 Thundurus
- 2 Max Potion
- 3 Cheren
- 1 Switch

+ 1 Zekrom
+ 1 Tornadus
+ 1 Junk Arm
+ 3 Sage's Training
+ 3 Draw supporter of any kind
