Yeah I know what you mean,Newnan was very crazy with 77 Masters and over 110 people in that card shop, it was almost like a states tournament except cramped and hot plus I was sick so that didn't help. Franklin was a huge improvement though.

Today, I went back to Vilegar. I was tired of getting donked... ;D Not much to say. I was DONE with MewGar...
Round 1: VS Gyarados
This was a good game. I lost zoned 1 of his magikarp early, which caused him to start hitting for 60. I Hard KO'd his 2nd Dos to LZ that too. He started to hit for 30 per turn... but it just wasn't worth it. I KO'd most of his mon on bench ftw.

Round 2: VS Gyarados
This was a good game... I guess. I took a long time to get out a Vileplume. I sacked 3 Tombs. By the time I was on the attack, I had 7 minutes left in the game. He was a relatively slow player too (not unfair slow... just he took his time). I went into Red Bull Speed mode and started KOing his pokemon ASAP. Time was called as I was 2-3. I had the prizes lined up... GG

Round 3: VS Ursarang (GHJamesGH from beach):fire:
I sit down and talk to the guy... he thinks he remembers my name from somewhere. Henry P. comes over and talks to him... something about Pokebeach. I ask James his username, and turns out we know each other. We talk a bit about how I got banned... and he says that he actually agreed with me and that I did not deserve the ban. Oh... you readers wanted to know what happened IN game? I got 2 Unown Q... nuff said. Usually, starting with 2 supporters in hand is a good thing... Hunter and Palmer say no. ;D

Round 4: VS Blaziken Luxray Garchomp
I had the dumbest moment during this game. I have a god hand really middle game... 15 cards that were all very useful. I copycat for 5 looking for a single card I needed... such a genius. I am unable to avoid him getting Dialga X out... but even then... I would have done better if I didn't lose my amazing hand.

He thinks he is so cleaver with his umbreon... I blaziken up Regice and start sniping his Umbreon for KO. Ran out of resources after that...

Round 6: VS Luxchomp + Dialga
We both failed really early... 4 judge were used in the first 4 turns. The game proceeded as normal. Time was eventually called on my turn. The prize count was 3-2 my favor. I do my thing. He levels up Garchomp and snipes a bench. 2-2. I retreat and lock up Garchomp. He doesn't have a response and EQs. I get a haxy Polterguiste (knew he had 2 TSS + 2 cards) for win. He bothers me later (yelling) that I didn't give him a shot and actually lost as it was on the first turn of time. We both agreed when a judge asked on his turn 3... dude should have chilled a bit... >.<

Round 7: VS Yanmega + Magnezone
Really nice guy. He made a risky ERL move early, and I was able to hit fainting spell to tie the game 2-2. I lost both of my Gengar SF at the time, which made it near impossible to take prizes. >.<

So I decided to play VileGar again... I felt like it was a very good build... I was done with getting donked with my Unown+Magikarp deck.
Round1: VS GDos:
This was a bland game. I hit heads on my fainting spell early on his Gdos... and he had no responses. For what ever reason, he had 2 magikarp in discard, 1 dos in play, and decided to fail an Azelf search. I don't know... he just had nothing to do.

Round 2: VS Mirror
I <3 mirror games. I was able to KO his SF Gengar first (after 2 hunter each). I lost zoned his Mewtwo X and his Gengar X. He ran out of options. After the game, he told me that he drew into Mewtwo X the turn before I lost zoned it.

She lost zoned two Gengar SF. D: I, in desperation, set up for a blaziken X. I top decked next turn into a Bebe to search Blaze X out to KO her Gengar SF (plus poison
). Time was called pretty early. When time was called, I Judge her out of her ability to play Gengar... and KO her pokemon with Blaze ftw. I was very lucky and should have lost if I didn't top deck.

I fall behind really quickly. I wiff out on Energy draw when I copycat for 7, and 10. Pokemon don't attack when they don't have energy :< Nice enough guy though.

My opponent opted to play aggressively instead of set up. I got the first Gengar SF knock out. He could not recover. He was the TO of the past few days. Really nice guy and fun to talk to.

Final day today! We played at a pizza place. I never heard of the place, but it was apparently popular. The benefits of being vegan! They had some garbage styles of pizza... really gross. They had candy cane pizza... smore... BLt... and really garbage stuff. The salad bar looked... decent... I guess. It was weird playing at a nonCardShop. Actually a worth while experience.
Round 1: VS Mirror (Jason K... AKA Ness)
This was a good game. I opened Unown Q, but he missed the energy draw. The game went along as normal, but it seemed that he did not play hunter. I was able to outlast him by Huntering up my damaged Gengars. He eventually Cynthia for 8 twice... and missed a gengar SF to attack me, and Mewtwo X to attack me again. Very GG overall.

The game was very close. It went to 2-2 prize ish. He eventually ran out of attackers except for Uxie X. I could have Level Downed his Uxie X ftw. I lost, however due to being stupid.

Round 3: VS Mirror (Gabe)
He opened bad apparently. Never got anything out at all.

Round 4: VS Sablock
He almost had me in this game. Standard fare really. He sniped off my bench while I 2 shotted his guys. What really got me was that Sableye 2 shots my Gengar. I pretty much never even thought of it. Had he had a SP Dark, he would have had me. Very GG though.

This was a pretty weird game. I honestly don't think he had practiced out the mirror too much. He did not use his Hunter to heal up his Gengar. He evolved into Gengar SF prematurely (while he had Bebe in hand). I got the first few snipes out, and basically won the game because of it. He went for Polterguiste when he really shouldn't have. He let me get a rescue and fainting spell off.

Same guy as yesterday. I open with Ghastly fainting spell. Next turn, I get my spiritomb and gloom out... he just scoops.

Round 7: VS Steelix.
I used Hunter and Gengar SF to donk his Uxie and benched something.

So I got 2nd. Very happy face. I got to play against Gabe again.
Top 8 Game 1:
I didn't get to play a supporter at all. I took 4 prizes with Blaziken X. He did play supporters and just beat me. Not much to say.

Nice job making Top 8, Zach! Looks like your becoming better and better with Vilegar, as it literally seems like your a master at it. I can also see you fought some epic games, and good job beating Ness!

Nakano, some of the "higher ups" had a vendetta with me. All it means is that I'll be offering my information and opinions here instead of there.
Thanks JPN. I felt that I figured out how to make VileGar work well. Also, the mirror is really difficult, but fun. My new love for the mirror is what made me play it all the way through. I did have some problems with bad starts, but not as bad as my Unown Magikarp donk deck (where I get donked with my unown Q and magikarp).
