Distributed during the Black and White Mall Tour 2011 is an oversized promo card.

The attack is quite intriguing:

:dark::grass: Who is Who?
Each player switches places with his or her opponent. Then, each player continues to play the game using his or her opponent's cards.

If this is a real card, how do you think it works? I use the attack, so I switch places with my opponent. Is it then my turn again? Or is my opponent's turn using my deck? (And he/she can choose to use the attack to switch back.) If it goes to my opponent's turn, I assume that he/she draws a card from my deck, which brings up an interesting hypothetical scenario: We could just keep doing the same attack until my deck runs out of cards. Only one or two cards would be drawn from my opponent's deck throughout the whole game, as at the start of every turn each player would be using my deck. It would be a challenge to figure out who's turn it is going to be when the deck "deck's out," Especially if you complicate things with draw cards and CopyCat, etc.

What a cool game mechanic! Will it ever really be released as a normal sized card?

Discuss!

That's quite likely, since each player would want to switch to the winning deck. The attack text should have included instructions to shuffle the card, and all cards attached to it, back into your deck.

Do you get any other Pokemon cards at the mall tour? I'm deciding on whether I should go.

No. The main focus is the Video Game, the new characters and the Movie. The regular sized cards are from Call of Legends. I put them in the photo to show the size difference.

But lots of cool plushies, T-Shirts (kid sizes only :frown: ), cell phone charms, pins, DS stylus, etc.

I would find it weird...cause after KO of said card, do you switch back to your deck? Or continue playing a different deck?

This + Regigigas LV.X
Simply Sacrifice your way through many prizes. Then Who is Who? and kill them off.
You could also get a Bannete (PL) and make it 10Hp from KO. Who is Who? then KO Banette for last prize.

Couldn't you just use whos who and then scoop? 'cuz its your opponents deck that would be getting picked up meaning that they couldn't continue the game.

My favorite idea is to use Palkia G Lv.X to Lost Zone six of your own Pokemon, play Lost World, and then use that attack. When it's your turn again, declare victory.

I doubt it'll ever be released as a tournament-legal card, it would be a really interesting game mechanic. I really want one of those cards right now. XD

Electrode Prime would be a better, faster option.

For everyone worrying, this isn't going to be printed normal size. It would be funny though if due to a printing error one was, and someone ran it for Nationals or something. Great card for collectors!

i can only imagine using this card at a large scale tournament with rows of 16+ games on connected tables. switching sides every turn would be extremely entertaining.

Ugh, I hope that's never made into a real card.

Ever.

Um why? It'd be a great casual card. (The rules might be ridiculously confusing but once in a while these cards should be introduced. It's whole new design space and a great showcase that there is a huge amount to do with the game that existing cards haven't yet touched)

I think I speak for most people on this forum when I say that I too would like to see this printed as a normal-sized card and released as playable in today's modified format. It couldn't hurt too much, right?!

I also think we're long overdue for an Uxie reprint. I was expecting it in Call of Legends, but I'm not complaining since we got the shiny Pokemon (and the Dialga, which is a pretty solid LostGar counter). If they decide to rotate to PL-on (which I think they should), it would be nice to see Uxie reprinted as an SP Pokemon too. I think it would help balance the format since every deck could then benefit from using Cyrus's Conspiracy.

My only complaint would be a complete divide in the types of decks people would use, with trainer lock decks on one side and SP/donk decks on the other. Probably the safest and most effective way to keep the Pokemon TCG from being so strategically separated is to go ahead and ban AR Spiritomb and Vileplume and just cut out trainer lock altogether. "Kamikaze" style Who is Who? (WIW?) decks would be completely viable, since you could easily WIW? into your opponent's SP/donk deck, thereby utilizing the same strategy you would have gone with anyway. Imagine how much switching would go on!

That is, of course, considering that we adopt the new B&W rules (aka trainers, supporters, and stadiums first turn), which we definitely should...

^ Too bad sarcasm doesn't translate well to a written medium. I'm betting we'll get one or two angry posts in response. Lost the post, though.
