Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

will GG run the table?

G&G ISN'T UNBEATABLE!!!!! **gasp!** (Plox isn't ether) No mater what, a GG (or plox, but when I say one or the other, I meen both) Is beatable by a good list. Sure, it is hard, but not un do-able.

Its not about if its beatable, it is about if it has a negative matchup^^

Plox lacks attacking power lategame, so youse something bulky and stabil that doesn'#t really on powers and can constantly setup.

Empoleon & Dawn Stadium gives Plox Troubles cause it probably hast spammed his DREs everywhere and cant do 60 Lategame with all prices flipped.
Unown G helps also, because without sonic blade, once empoleon has its setup, you're done

A good list? Ok.... by a good list what do you mean? Maybe a close to perfect Empoleon can beat it or another Plox, but nothing else really can win with out a donk.. :/

I think they should ban all "net decks" from play and force people to be creative and make their own decks. The whole rotation means nothing if a new player cames into the game and has to play in a tournament of all GG and lose.

You serious?
You're telling me that the only thing that can beat PLOX is another PLOX or a perfect Empoleon list?
Oh how I laugh at you, DarthPika!
How I laugh!

Oh, please, come on. I've beat a plox after a long drawn out battle, and I use garch. Don't say it was bad, or had bad luck, or the player was bad, because you'd be wrong. Now, quit acting like everything you play can't be beat.

*sniff sniff...* Something smells fishy around here... But what could it be...? AHA! THIS POST SOUNDS LIKE YUGIOH!

I will admit that Chomp can be tough on Plox, but once again it is easily teched against. BTW who did you play against? If it was the guy using Sableye, then the list is bad. You guys can believe what ever you want. You'll find out how good Plox is at nats.

It's really funny how many people think Plox/G&G is easy to use. Well... its actually kind of sad.
I've only played Plox once all season, in a mirrior match against a great player who had been playing it all season, and I crushed him 6-3 on prizes despite him getting the better set-up. Face it, its the donkados of this season, just played out differently. And a good emp beats a good plox easily, even if the plox is teched for the emp.

Plox is pretty easy to play.
I played it for the first time yesterday and didn't have too many problems.
A couple times I did have to think out my moves, but it really aint that bad.

LOL!
How can they possibly tech against EVERYTHING?
They're really isn't enough room in the deck to tech against everything that has been mentioned.
Just because you bought a list from Team R doesn't mean you know everything there is no know about the deck.

I found that in the mirror it actually doesn't always matter who gets the better setup. The Plox mirror is increadibly hard and comes down to a lot of luck and topdecking.

i think its funny how you gg/plox has to tech to win matchups but empoleon is just a solid deck with no techs and still beats gg 75%... imagine if empoleon were to tech against gg? omg! what a massacre

That would be bad.... if the Empoleon where to tech I'm not so sure that the Plox could ever win.

Ok... so the Empoleon matchup isnt going so well... hmmm I think I'll do what I've been doing all yr and put in a tech for it.

A good Plox will beat a good Empoleon most of the time.

And yes, I have heard of Arithmetic, infact I was one of the people using it at regionals. Yes it beat Plox (unless the Plox teched) but it wont win anything else now, so as I said there is NO known counter to Plox.

With all due respect, is there a such thing as a "bad" Plox? I've only participated in major events this year, and I've seen a lot of Plox. They all look the same. So far I've seen quite a few versions of Empoleon (Emp/Bronzong, Emp/Gallade, Emp/Omastar, and more) and I've seen them all at one point or the other smash GG/Plox hard. Depending on the setup, one can certainly maintain control over the other. It can go either way. But Emp is more efficient for the fact that it requires a fairly less amount of setup and is another huge tank that Gallade will ruin itself trying to kill and that Gardy will not affect much. It's so versatile and can also be a massive powerhouse doing 100 a turn. Let's not forget Omastar/Wager, which is a crippling blow to any deck, ESPECIALLY GG/Plox. ****, I'm even starting to see Omastar in GG/Plox decks.

i have no doubt that the majority of decks at nationals will be gardy/gallade related but is empoleon the answer to that? no, it is just a good matchup which a lot of the time comes down to speed
the best play for nats will have an answer to both, beedrill, mario?, magmortar, with favorable matchups against any other rogue
also, a teched out version of gg/plox will not do all of the above... EVER

I find it hard to believe that the BDIF will win worlds. It hasnt yet, and there is no reason to think that this year will change it. Banette and Empoleon can give GG troubles. As far as saying that GG is supreme. My record against GG this year since MD came out is 9-4 with all top cut games counting or 6-1 in games that count towards rating. So I feel that while many think GG is the BDIF it won't win worlds.

Yes, there is such a thing as a bad Plox, and most of them are built by n00bs trying to win. (not saying its a bad idea just that a lot of n00bs want to win)

Most of the Plox lists you find are avrage at best, but every now and then you will come across one that is truly amazeing.
