Sweet, the Super Connectivity Magnezone comes in a starter deck. Is that good news for us getting it here anytime soon? I'm not sure exactly when we would get that. It would be neat if they put it into our LA or IFDS.

Electranite is coming back! I'm going to have some FUN with that Magnezone!

I have a question to the other people here that bought boxes of IFDS. I bought 3 boxes of IFDS as I do with every Japanese set, 2 of the boxes had the normal 3 Lv.Xs in it but the 3rd box only had 1 Lv.X in it. (That box also had a Charizard in it so I didn't care) Has anyone else's IFDS boxes had only 1 Lv.X in it? Or was I just unlucky? I'll also point out that all 3 boxes were from the same case.

Or Dusknoir..... *shudders*

This set is somewhat scary..... o_O

Yep, there are so many cards that seem totally overpwered, its sick.
THere are more good Dusknoirs than you can actually use in your deck...

DP
Promo
IFDS
Starter
Level X

Why do they make so many sick Dusknoirs instead of pushing other lines ? This is worse than GG in one Line

And these Sniping Cards are just so overpowered... Gengar is totally sick, not only having the attack of ray ex d, but also a totally devastating and luckbased body and a second great attack. THen Dusknoir the Level X is just sick, you take 20 dmg before you can do anything and if you dont have a kickgym you may as well forfeit, and then their is this sick dusknoir, which does an additional damage wave between turns and pretty much does 80 dmg for 3 energys.
Im Seriosly starting to hate this set, this is worse than GG, this is becoming more like YGO with totally overpowered cards in every set o_O

Dialga
HP100
Basic Metal

PokeBody: Time Aura
As long as this pokemon is active. Your opponent cannot play Pokemon Cards to evolve their active pokemon.

MMCC Metal Burn 100

Same thing with Magnezone:

DP..................Free Retreat; reliable attack
Level X............Move energies around; auto paralyze/80 for 2
Theme deck......Energy Recycling; type advantage over Empoleon/Kingdra
IFDS................Search for any :lightning or :metal: pokemon; sniping attack/powerful attack
Promo..............More powerful attack; smokescreen/40 for 2.

I think Magnezone and Dusknoir are supposed to be kind of like rivals or something, similar to Magmortar and Electivire.

Dusknoir isnt even the only good card,Tyrantiar is broke since people will find a way to get it going by turn 5-t6 and then drop star and then its the return of Rock Lock. Steelix can do infinty damage and spread to everything,Scizor is good since Shaymin Lv.X is coming with it,Tangrowth is like the new magmnortar, everything just seems to be good beside Gigagas which will always be trash.

Could diagla be used as a starter to keep your opponents from setting up while you power up your (insert main attacker here) and other techs?

I get the rivalry that is between Mag and Vire. But because Mamgortar has got horrible stats in the DS games, I think he could have been as popular as Vire.

I do NOT get the connection between Zone and Nior, so could you explain that please?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

.........No. Dialga has no Starter quality's.

Dusknoir and Magnezone both have like 4 strong variants and almost no pokemon have that many strong variants in such a small amount of sets after each other.

There really isn't a major one, though one could say that Dusknoir can catch radio waves that Zones could possibly leave off.

New one, no. Majestic Dawn one has some decent opener quality, while not on the level of Phione or Pachirisu, but still not bad.
