Worst Pokemon card set ever????

For me, it is Galactic's Conquest. They do not seem to interest me.

But if you mean not the future....then.... Majestic Dawn.

I do not have any interest in any of those cards. Except Garchomp Lv.X

I was personally gonna go Aquapolis (seriously, huge set with too few playables) or NEO: Destiny. Light Pokemon FTL...

Although N: Discovery is pretty high up there. Woo premier of the "new" Eeveelutions. Boo to...a lot fo the rest of that set...

Yes, but atleast you could pull either a RH Crystal Lugia or a Holo Crystal Lugia. I am pretty sure that either of those two are almost worth equal to a complete Neo Discovery set.

I'd like to see someone argue that anything is better than Neo Discovery which had 2 cards that were decent, not even great, just decent. I think that it would be hard to prove that any set is worse than that. I have a longer list of every set, and why I think it isn't or is (Neo Discovery) the worst.

Tyranitar, Beedrill, Igglybuff, Unown D, M, N, and Natu (first basic to ever have a chance for confusion for 1 energy) say it's pretty playable, espically compared to pop1.

I will give you that Igglybuff, and those 3 Unown did see play, but they were amazing and there were better choices of decks to play then have those in them.

Tyranitar and Beedrill were unplayable as was pretty much any deck that was a Stage 2 when those cards were out. There was no RC and I am not sure Breeder was legal at that point. It was that they made Basic and Stage 1 pokemon way too good and that made any Stage 2 decks awful. Natu isn't good. Your telling me your going to a play a basic just to confuse someone but not evolve, seems pointless.

Oh, and POP Series 1 is NOT a set.

The original Rocket Set was awffffful, none of those cards were playable even then. The only good card it had going was Rainbow Energy. The Dark Pokemon are just wayyy too bad.

I recall Dark Golduck being pretty evil when it first came out.
Not to mention the 3-4 broken trainers they released in it.

I recall both being played. I loved playing t-tar, mainly because D=only possible 30 to all the opponets pokemon. Drill was an anoying pokemon. Natu could evo, but he's notible because he could cause alot of decks problems t1.

Edit: I think we need to actually define what is a set and what isn't. To me, a set is a collection of cards that belong together, based on the company printing.

How about team rocket returns... That set was bad.

Plenty of the pop sets were pretty bad, but they shouldnt count. As for full sets, e-reader sets where awful.

Excluding Delcatty, I'd have to say Power Keepers.

Same thing with DP1, it was good at first, but they made better Empos/Terras/Infernapes.

Legendary collection was bad to collect as I can not tell you how many times I had a pack that had 2 or sometimes 3 of the exact same common card inside of it. Personallu unless one is a reverse holo, there should never be 2 of the same card in a single pack.

Um, Jeff, that was supposed to happen. LC was designed as a set that was playable for sealed right of of the pack, so they gave you automatic 2/1 lines of pokemon so always had an evolution line.

Power Keepers had more than just Delcatty.

Delcatty
Firestarter Blaziken
Psy Shadow Gardevoir
Machamp (teched in early Mario)
Absol EX
Shiftry EX (Skill Hack)
Jolteon*
Skarmory EX

These were all playable. Plus there were great reprinted Trainers.

That makes it a better than average set imo.

Mostly the reprints were useful.

Yoyo, Scarmory Ex was in Destiny.
And it doesn't matter if they are reprints, the cards were still useful.
