Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Ursaring Prime - Under estamated?

Then why don't you play Apprentice instead of RS? It has a better shuffling algorithm, as far as I know.

And it's not really trash talking, so much as people pointing out the serious flaws in your strategies and logic. That's not trash talking, that's a fact unless you can prove it otherwise.

You're partially right, but it's the way you say those things that turn it in to trash talking. Like: Ursaring is as bad as Mr T's haircut on a good day. Or, like this: You guys are talking out of your butt. Ursaring will have a Garchomp sandwich, with a side of Luxray, and hold the Toxicroak. That will be $4.25 at the window please.

See, it's all in how you say it.

it has its own way of shuffling... it has a programmed way of shuffling, what ever way it shuffles, i can be very much sure thats not the way you shuffle when your sitting at a table. and like i said, the otehr person doesnt cut your deck, nor does the game, it just shuffles, nothing more. cutting a deck can mean a donk, or a slow start, even a lost. asfar as showing otherwise? because know no one thats talking down on the deck is at my leauge to play me as i continue to test the deck, and i beat the decks they say are pose to dystroy it, they call them bad players and bad deck lists, when their people that have finished top, some gone to worlds. and because they lost they are "bad players". they're so upset that i've beaten decks that are pose to dystory me they dont even ask how i won. just call the people who've lost "bad players with bad lists"....only bad players call other players "bad players". to many people with *cough cough* egos... such a big eggooooo... (alil kayne west there sorry):thumb:

@ amphy#1 - very right, its all how its said, its dumb to get wrapped up in trash talking anyway, weather they point out weakpoints in a strat or not, its all how its said that makes it critisim/fix or trash talk/bashing. :nonono: and it has yet to get back on topic, the fact that i beat a SP and Luxchomp deck which im pose to "auto-loss" too, did they ask how it played out for me to win? nope... jsut trash talk the people who lost. which is very unnessecary.

You are right about online playing, but that's the only way for them to judge/rate/fix the deck. They won't believe that you've beaten good decks in testing. So, as long as you know it's good for you, just keep testing and tweeking and don't worry about it.

Also, since you know what they're going to say about it, you can be like, ("Ok. I'll take that into consideration and keep testing against it. Then we'll see what happens this weekend.") Then you leve it at that.

Do you stack your cards? If not, then it should be just as random. If anything, the program is more random than shuffling IRL, since the program uses a specific algorithm to shuffle instead of just mixing the cards by hand.

All I see, and what everyone else sees, is some random player who's making outrageous claims about a bad deck and refuses to back them up with legitimate testing evidence, and instead relies on word of mouth and bad logic to avoid testing. As far as I can tell, you're being a troll, and I'm done with this thread.

Rawr!! Booga booga!! I'm a big fat troll!!

You want to talk about word of mouth and bad logic when BlackBrock has proven he's done well with it against good players in real life. That's as legit as it gets.

I'm glad you're done, so see you on the flip side. Peace out.

lol, i keep all my decks in order, 3 pile shuffle, take the stack on the left and shuffle it on top of the otehr two, take the next pile, and shuffle one on top of the final pile and make a 2nd small pile. then mush them together, and offer a cut, if the opponet doesnt cut, i cut the deck myself. or, ill cut my own deck and offer the oppoent another cut. now... does your simulations do that? :nonono:

and as far as you know, i am a random player lol, your a random player to me just like evryone else i dont know personally on here. appartently amphy#1 is the only one that understands what im trying to get at (thank very much amphy) and like i said, you can call it bad all you like untill you loose to it, then your the "bad player with the bad deck list":lol: but glad to c u gone from the thread my haterade drinking friend. :thumb: i could tell you the kid on here who had the curgar deck i've beaten. but it'll be the same way with the user name i've given for the kid i beat with the SP deck.... no one PMd him lol i know cause he said nothing to me.... or mentioned PMing him. im giving you guys proff and your refusing to take it, so whos the one refusing to back up testing evidence when im giving it to you ? or are you all to scared to hear what im saying is right and got your " *cough cough* egoooo" to big to be proven wrong?

Yes, the order of the decks may vary. However, without knowing the contents of deck and assuming neither deck was stacked/poorly shuffled then the odds of drawing each card from the deck will be the same. Online simulators are actually more accurate because they completely randomise the deck, giving a perfect shuffle.

LOL . . . Amphy just loooooooves this kind of thread, that's all.

'Proof' is what nnaann and Kayle did.

They both posted decklists and described the matches.

'Proof' is good lists and players with credentials. The guy you played from PokeBeach might be a great player with Worlds invites and multiple tournament wins. He might be playing an optimal Luxchomp list.

But we don't KNOW that do we? Because you can't/won't give that info. Asking us to go PM someone on PokeBeach is ridiculous. I'm not joining Pokebeach so I can PM a total stranger and ask him if he's any good at Pokemon. It's your 'proof', you back it up.

I have to agree with you on this one.

BlackBrock, just tell them what titles and championships they've topped in, or won. Then they can look them up and find out for themselves. When they find out, then they can't say anything. Or, you can tell them that "You can't handle the truth." Then we can keep trolling as usual.

Ursaring prime has MUCH potential in many different combinations. If you get the right hand, you could potentially have Ursaring doing 90 if you go second! Just depends on what hand you get. After all, Jumpluff gets out 70+ on the first turn, no?

I'm planning on making an Ursaring deck once my deck's main attacker gets rotated out. It seems like it would turn out great if you get the right combination out. Most cards out there have potential, but sometimes they're overlooked. Yeah, Ursaring dies against Donphan, but does every deck have perfect matchups? One deck dies against a different one, it's the cycle of decks.

you want know? well then... YOU CANT HANDEL THE TRUTH ! (took ya advise amphy lol ) the kid wasnt at leauge today, i figured you would say something to that so i was actually a step ahead of you :) but heay your asking, im giving, if you dont wanna do alil work to get your answer liek yall was trying to do before, then too bad for you ! if a computer does the "perfect shuffle" then its not completely random... its perfect... humans arent perfect....lol no matter how you cut it, slice it shuffle or stack it, its not the same lol

@loudkirbyking - right on brother !

if a computer does the "perfect shuffle" then its not completely random...

I don't know how Redshark was programmed, but I can't imagine much of a reason for them to shuffle in any way other than picking a random card (1-60) to be first, then picking a random remaining card (1-59) to be second, then... etc... Pretty simple in C or C++ using linked pointers. [/computer nerd]

Basically, only an idiot would program a computer to perform any kind of "perfect shuffle". They just pick a bunch of random numbers, which is actually MORE random than human shuffling. 60% of my hands in Redshark are very suboptimal, for some reason.

Redsharks shuffle algorithm sucks, thats true, you always end upo with blocks of cards :p And just hold down the coin flip combination and look at the results ;D Anyway this thread is pointless, bb is just a big troll and its pretty easy to see he doesnt know what hes talking about, just let this thread die

ok, i can agree with that. lol was commenting on the person above who said it was the perfect shuffle. is all

@Yoshi - back to the name calling from the n00b who doesnt take the facts given, but wish everything to be spoon fed to him  lol the upcoming events, and the outcomes will speak more than anything ive said. but dont forget my hand shake when im up top above ya Yoshi

If you make it to worlds with this I'll gladly shake your hand there ;) But im pretty sure my time in hawai will be pretty bearfree.

 That's hilarious

Hey Yoshi, that is exactly why you shouldn't feed the bears in the wild. Because that's what'll happen to you.

Now I personally may not always agree with Yoshi but...calling him a noob when he just won the German nationals? Thats just bloody hilarious.

and to d-bags like yoshi

I'm pretty sure blaming others for 'trash-talking' and then calling them names like these reduces any validity in your post. You beat a good kid on Pokebeach? Congrats, you should feel proud of yourself. Even if it is a good player (which would surprise me being from the 'Beach and all), beating one player doesn't make a deck good enough to make it through 7-8 people at a big tournament.

one? no0o, 3. which im still testing different things and combos mostly. so that its sped up abit more, but also can fall back on all the possbale attacks, maybe even crobat g type of affects. i dunno, but itll be tweaked enough to make it for Nationals. and just gonna let the dice roll and see how things go, hopnig for a good out come. but if not, i wont feel too bad. :thumb:
