It's almost Saturday and Pokebeach doesn't have all the scans up. I really wish other Pokemon news sites would cover Pokemon TCG. -.-

The Shiny Pokemon lack the ultra rare holofoil treatment. That should pull them back a bit.
 
So... what's everyone freaking about? We're getting a lay off of those stupid as heck Primes and some semi-useful reprints. I especially like Research Record and I think it'll become an awesome staple.

Chill, folks, you can flip your lid when the entire set of scans come out, but for now...

Well mostly to people posting things such as "we know there are at least 85 cards" etc., read this entire thread. There seems to be debate as to there being very little unknown cards and about how many cards there are exactly, but I'd say that there seems to be space for some surprises still. Just found that funny as the information was freely available. :smile: Sorry, I think it is premature to say that because we have seen a few scans that there are no possible surprise good cards. Either way tomorrow will tell... I just wish they would reprint the Ampharos Prime. :biggrin:

Why so no one can play it? Well why not this set is full of cards that are out right nowan no one ever plays. Heck if they were going to make a set full of cards that no ever used in a deck they might as well have brought back the EX cards from Sandstorm , oh and the Regi EX's as well. Oh and reprint every Light-pokemon card ever produced,,,, It could have been a usless card hall of fame set. That at least would have been more interestign then this boring lifeless mess that is being dumped on our doorstep.

This is my exact point. It has reached a point of hysteria, but if it is as bad as some are making it out to be, yes I will be disappointed.

And, BTW, it was a joke, its my favorite pokemon... I'm going along with Flareon until I see otherwise. Why is everyone so sure that the 96/95+ are going to be so terrible? Have they all been confirmed as Shiny's?

What else are we going to get? It's obvious at this point we aren't getting English Exclusive Cards (Metal Energy is 87/95, add 8 Basic Energy, so nothing there). And it's pretty clear we aren't getting anything before HGSS in this set. In addition to that, we already know that Ho-oh and Lugia have SL# instead of xx/95. This set is terrible, end of story.


Also, there is no Munchlax from any Japanese HGSS set including Lost Link, you can remove any list that is made.

Also whats all this about only kids going crazy for this set? I resent that remark and I'm sure the kids who are into competitive play do to. :wink:

Is there really gonna be another suicune/entei/raikou shiny trio? We already got them in the holiday tins so I'm not too thrilled.

Since Entei won't fit as a rare holo, and Suicune/Raikou won't fit as a regular rare, I doubt they will be printed outside of their shiny cards. I'm hoping Smeargle is in the set (they'd realistically have to put something in the set that competitive players want), and with the set name, Celebi/Jirachi/Shaymin would all make sense (and make sense with the common/uncommon spread).

Just so you know, we have complete scans of the entire set that have been ready to go for almost a week.
But, since we're PTOs, we're not allowed to show them until after the first PRs.
So, we will have complete scans up later today.
