Speculative BW: Dark Explorers Set List

Is it possible to get the sets/decks listed that these cards come from, instead of pokedex number, because that is kind of a useless bit of info.

And currently what you have is a wall of names some of which are multiples.

It'd just make it easier to read/reference :) thanks

I took the list in the first post and added the Japanese sets/numbers:

The DP sets never needed any reason to reprint Trainers at random. Heck, Bebe's Search debuted in Mysterious Treasures and was reprinted in the very next set!

Plus, depending on the characters' roles in the new games, they could be in the first English set that promotes BW2.

The pokedex nos. are important for set order, and will be useful as more cards are revealed.

Take out Volcarona and 1 Eevee from Reshiram/Zekrom decks. There is no way they put 2 of the same card with diferent artwork in the set (Well, except for the FA cards) they will sure make them promos OR NOT like Virizion, Cobalion and Terrakion from J-Promo 37/38/39

What about Bisharp J-Promo 067? I know is old but, if we are adding Metal Pawniard from Thundurus/Tornadus decks and the set is called Dark Explorers, we can (maybe) get Bisharp JP 67

New numbers!

Venusaur - 3
Leafeon - 6
Entei-EX - 13
Kyogre-EX - 26
Raikou-EX - 38
Groudon-EX - 54
Umbreon/Sableye - 61-62
Sandile-Krookodile - 64-66
Scraggy/Scrafty - 67-68
Zorua - 69
Vullaby - 73
Tornadus-EX - 90
Dark Claw - 92
Dark Patch - 93

So, we're only getting one Bulbasaur, and if you take out the second Volcarona on vegitalian's list, that lines up the first 26 cards perfectly. Looks like we're not getting the Cheren, Juniper and N reprints either as #91 should be Crashing Hammer.

My revised speculative list:

GRASS (1-11): Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur, Scyther, Carnivine, Leafeon, Dwebble, Crustle, Karrablast, Shelmet, Accelgor
FIRE (12-22): Flareon, Entei-EX, Torchic x2/Combusken/Blaziken, Torkoal, Heatmor, Larvesta x2/Volcarona
WATER (23-36): Slowpoke/Slowbro, Vaporeon, Kyogre-EX, Piplup/Prinplup/Empoleon, Glaceon, Tympole/Palpitoad, Ducklett/Swanna, Vanillite/Vanillish
LIGHTNING (37-47): Jolteon, Raikou-EX, Plusle/Minun, Joltik x2/Galvantula, Tynamo x2/Eelektrik/Eelektross
PSYCHIC (48-52): Espeon, Slowking, Woobat, Yamask/Cofagrigus
FIGHTING (53-59): Aerodactyl, Groudon-EX, Drilbur/Excadrill x2, Timburr/Gurdurr
DARKNESS (60-73): Umbreon x2, Sableye, Darkrai-EX, Sandile/Krokorok/Krookodile, Scraggy/Scrafty, Zorua x2/Zoroark, Bisharp (BW-P 67), Vullaby
METAL (74-79): Escavalier, Klink/Klang/Klinklang, Pawniard/Bisharp
COLORLESS (80-90): Chansey x2/Blissey, Eevee x2, Chatot, Lillipup x2/Herdier/Stoutland, Tornadus-EX
TSS (91-102): Cheren, Crash Hammer**, Dark Claw, Dark Patch, Hooligans, Old Amber, N, Professor Juniper, Random Receiver, Rare Candy, Twist Mountain, Ultra Ball
EX FA (103-108): Entei, Kyogre, Raikou, Groudon, Darkrai, Tornadus-EX
SHINY (109-111): Gardevoir, Archeops, Pokemon Catcher

** - I know I just said that I didn't think Cheren could be #91 but thinking about it... it would be really weird for the three shiny cards to be part of the main set when the ones in Next Destinies were secret rares. So perhaps Crashing Hammer was named something else, leaving Cheren as #91 and allowing N and Juniper to be the other two cards that push the three shinies to secret rare status. Or maybe the shinies just are part of the main set?

The correctly translated name for the Hammer is "Remodeling Hammer". Crashing is extremely incorrect of a translation, as it is exactly what Crushing Hammer was in Japan. Cheren, Juniper, and N fit in exactly with all the Trainers from Dark Explorers + Ultra ball and Random Receiver.

Sounds right to me then. I'm glad we're getting the Supporter reprints but I wish we had gotten Bianca to go with the others.

And on a Pokemon note, we're getting the BW-P Promo Bisharp, whoohoo!

If anything, it not being a "filler set" would make a reprint far LESS likely, wouldn't it? Also, being in a Battle deck doesn't make a reprint definite. We never got the Pokemon Reversal from the Raichu Battle Starter deck.

Espeon being 46 means that they're going to cut two of the Lightning cards... boo. And they'll have to move something up either from the Dragon sets or as an English exclusive to close the gap between Espeon and Groudon. Which makes sense I guess because this set is pretty light on Psychic cards.

Yes, it's true some cards from the Battle Decks were left out of our sets. The difference is that those were all fairly generic cards. N, Juniper and Cheren are all very popular characters still relevant to the current marketing and their new art is a decent selling point for both players and collectors. I don't see them being left out.

Is there a source to back it up? Dont say bulbanews...

What's wrong with Bulbanews? I'm the one who wrote that story, and I can confirm that everything in that story is corrcet, numbers included. I received a personal e-mail that had all of those things. If you have a problem with bulbanews, then say what it is so that it can be fixed.
