Kid at my league plays Banette + Dugtrio/Electrode. Makes the deck a little less consistant, but it vastly improves the Empoleon matchup.

I\'d actually consider running a 4-4 Claydol. Baltoy isn\'t a bad starter at all, and having 2-3 Claydol out, will ensure that you do boat loads of damage over time. It\'d be like you get to pick your hand.

I would have said Joke thread is not Jokey, but whatever. No, I cannot see why Chomp would make any difference. The whole Idea of Butterfree is to get a T1 30 and sweep out from there. Chomp just makes it slow, and Butterfree is bad in the first place.
