European Challnge Cup 2011: Finals standings and coverage reports

I just wanted to thank you HaPé for having me as part of your staff! It was an amazing weekend, very well organized, be it the tourney itself, the hotel, lunch, etc. (well I'm still skeptical about that krokett thingy but yeah =D). I didn't get a chance to hug you nor Elsa before leaving so I'm...

    Flutterby Fury: Butterfree for states.

Since you're already using Sunflora maybe you could play the one from SW to get even more healing power? And 3 Butterfree is more than enough I think. 12 Grass is way too much you could drop at least 6 of em and add 4 Call. A 3-3 line of Cherrim would be nice as well. Just some random thoughts.

    SECRET DECK: MamoswineGL

How about adding a 2/2 Porygon 2 line? Works great with Cyrus's Conspiracy. Lets you fetch a Water Energy, an Energy Gain, and a Flint's Willpower and you're all set! Well, almost :p So you can start off the game with Mamoswine Gl, Call Energy for Porygon and whatever else floats your boat, next...

    City Championship Reports

Silly question: why did you choose Quagsire over Empoleon FB? Is it really needed anyways? (Great reports, terrific read!)

    Kecleon RR / Cherrim SF

Say I attack with Kecleon RR (whose type is :fire: :grass: :water: :fighting: :lightning :psychic: :dark: :metal: :colorless thanks to its :pbody:) while I have 1 Cherrim SF (whose :pbody: states that each of my :grass: Pokémon's AND my :fire: Pokémon's attacks does 10 more damage to the...

    Kaboma(Kabutops/Abomasnow)

The thing is that you wanna shut off trainers early in the game so that your opponnent won't be able to set up by playing Rare Candies and the like. If you start spreading with Aboma, they'll have plenty of time to set up which makes your strategy void. However, it's still good for spreading...

    What's the best D&P expansion?

Thanks a lot, butlerforhire. That's the kind of response I was looking for! I'll go for 1 SW, 1 LA, and 2 SF. I've had a look at GE and there's only a few cards that caught my eye so I'll try to get them through trading. Cheers for the help!

    What's the best D&P expansion?

I haven't played Pokémon in a while and I don't know anything about D&P. I have some spare bucks to burn and I thought I could buy some booster boxes. I don't have any Pokémon cards so what cards should I buy first? Are there any gift boxes/theme decks that are worth buying? Stormfront looks...

Great report, well done Anna! Are your tournaments open to anyone? If so, I would really like to pay you a visit when I'm back to Europe. Haven't played Pokémon in a while so it would be good to catch up with you =) I should be in Belgium in February so I will e-mail you to confirm that — if you...

    Who/What win your national champs?

Linguistically speaking, this is called "fossilization". It often occurs in second language acquisition.
