Half the fun of having a secret deck is the pride of having a deck you had a part in making that is novel, or somewhat different.

The second half is holding it over the heads of people who are worried about what exactly you (or Jimmy) are going to crack out!

I doubt he is lying. Be afraid, very afraid. Especially afraid after the Rotation occurs. A lot of decks will be playe din 10-, but I think Flariados and LBS will be the biggest.
 
Queen is the way to go. It's easy and sets up fast in this age group. Not too many people can handle a first turn toxic. My daughter won her trip to worlds with it and has only been playing for 3 months. Adding a holon gl to this deck also helps out.
